Great video. In some ways, it reminds me of the Westwood campus area of UCLA in Los Angeles of the early 1980s with all the young people at the bars. I also have good memories of Greenwich Village of the mid-1980s. ActionKid, you were able to capture the flavor of the village that evening. Hard to do, but I appreciate seeing this! Thanks! Well done! The quality of 4K 60 FPM on the streets of NYC at night is unbelievable on my ultra 4K TV!!!

Dude, love this voice over video and had a waking dream watching it: I lived in Greenwich Village and my bodyguard would accompany me on walks such as this. I lived for 14 years in LA and Cher was right. LA is cool, has a lot to offer but you have to drive where things are happening. In Manhattan simply open the front door. You've captured my imagination. ActionKid for President in 2020! 😉👍

The streets of SOHO have the highest concentration of cast iron buildings in all of the USA , many of them converted to residential lofts; Opposite Pomme Frites on Macdougal Street is Cafe Wha, where Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix all played back in the 60's; Next door is Comedy Cellar, a popular venue for comedy entertainment; Mamoun's Falafel is highly rated for cheap eats and good quality falafel on pita etc at inexpensive prices and Cafe Reggio , the first place in America to ever serve cappuccino. The Blue Note on West 3rd St is the most famous jazz club in that area. Nice video and keep up the great work, Actionkid

would be curious to get a better look at Central Park too when you get a chance. Maybe I'm just weird because when I walk around cities I tend to have little interest in shopping, restaurants, bars, nightlife, etc. I just like visiting weird and off-beat museums and exhibits (Jack The Ripper museum), riding unconventional public transport systems (monorails, narrow gauge railways, ferries, canal boats, whatever a city might have), and city parks and statues. A good friend of mine was asking me about the nightlife, shops, and restaurants in London from my last trip and I had to tell him I didn't have a clue about any of that kind of thing! But I can tell him about some cool concerts I saw in Hyde Park!, The architecture of numerous tube stations, and the glass floors inside Tower Bridge! 😁👍

New York looks like a beautiful city, I plan on visiting soon. I gotta say though the garbage on the side walks really takes the look away from the city, surely there has to be a better way to get rid of the garbage. Even having the garbage in trash cans would look much better, I'm guessing there is a massive vermin issue in New York because of all the garbage lying on the side walks.

Good morning, K., I like the "ad hoc" comments while recording the video. The subsequently added comments are too "synthetic". It looks like a video for school lessons.
@zrinchyy5 жыл бұрын
LoiLoScope it may be useful for visually impaired people though.
@LoiLoScope5 жыл бұрын
@@zrinchyy - I think, you misunderstood me. Actionkid has videos where he spoke during the recording. Let's call this once live commentary. On the other hand, there are videos in which one subsequently speaks the comment when the video is cut. I just said that I like live commentary during the recording. The other method is more like a video for school lessons. - Both ways are video with narration.
@ActionKid5 жыл бұрын
I also like being able to record one version of the video and then going back to narrate it later when I have some facts about the things I’m seeing 😃
@LoiLoScope5 жыл бұрын
@@ActionKid - I like that too. Usually I work so that I record videos and later cut on the computer. Only then to the cut videos, I then speak a comment. But I made some attempts with video footage during a walk. Similar to your approach, these videos were not cut. Then I compared: video with comment during continuous recording versus video with comment added later. Result: Videos with live commentary seemed more authentic, more lively. So if you want to comment live, you can prepare yourself and make a little cheat sheet. - But anyway: It's your videos with your approach. Do not be fooled.
@zrinchyy5 жыл бұрын
LoiLoScope I understand the point of your comment, and I have to agree with you and most of other commenters, we prefer the live narrating style, but as the AK himself has said, it can be a little more challenging for him. So I’m trying to find the good in this given format aswell. As far as I’m concerned, I would definitely watch every his video, because they’re so interesting to watch! Have a nice day :)
