Spotless, green, well maintained & constantly upgrading, beautiful place. China develops at an insane speed. It always blows my mind that China built a city like Shenzhen in 40 years.

I used to head directly over to Sanlitun after school at 2 pm every Friday. That was more than 3 years ago. It's amazing how quickly Beijing can change. Thanks for the walk and talk.

Would you suggest to stay near Dongrun Fengjing Culture Square (east of chaoyang Park) or in sanlitun? My main goal is to have international restaurants near me

I would suggest around Sanlitun but many places can be easily reached by metro or Didi (Didi is in English now if that helps)

Sanlitun is the best place to go for nightlife. 👍🏻 if you feel adventurous you can also go down towards the Qianhai Bar Street area

Hope one day restaurant owners in Beijing could make their dream come true by sustain their businesses over 50yrs, 100yrs or even pass their recipes over several generations like wht Japanese sushi masters has been doing, i hate to say it but local government's interferences say demolition mandate has made all kinds restaurant owners tough to keep their businesses running well not mention huge blow by unpredictable disasters like covid pandemic or bird flue.

Yeah, a lot of restaurants have changed in and around Beijing and across China. It has been a difficult time for that industry but food is such an important part of the culture so I am sure the industry will be back and some of the traditional restaurants go on to stay about for a long time. Good food never goes out of fashion. 👍🏼
