Great video thx !! Outside was great shopping areas, however wait until you go inside pass immigration with multiple bag scanners !! Worst of all was the waiting area for boarding, it reminded me of chickens or cattles in the cage barn , and please don't go to the toilets in the boarding areas , filthy is understatement.

Couldn't agree more about the waiting area for boarding. I was at KLIA 2 recently and the toilets were clean though if I remember correct. Maybe they got complaints and did something about it.

Hi Claes. KLIA 1 is mainly for international flights like QATAR Airways and many other carriers, and is the home of Malaysian Airlines. While KLIA 2 is mainly for low cost carriers and is used by Air Asia. These two terminals are built in difference buildings. Hope this helps.

@@claesblomquist3510 KLIA is a world class airport, KLIA 2 is a shit hole. The only good part about it is knowing you will leave to go elsewhere.

Is there comfortable seating in terminal 2 to wait and have a small snooze? I will arrive at 1 am and will be waiting for a friend to arrive at 6 am on another flight. Also not comfortable with taking a taxi at 2 or 3 am.

It is a terminal for budget airline. A terrible design and should be demolished. I missed the old low cost terminal which was so simple to navigate.

It's truly awful and can only have been built out of spite to cause low cost airlines and their passengers problems. Typical Malay spite for you, messing up Malaysia since independence.

If we want to go through immigration procedures, we have to go through Klia 1, right? I thought the only way to get from Klia 2 to Klia 1 was by train.

That's not correct. The only difference between KLIA1 and KLIA2 is that KLIA1 has all the premium airlines while KLIA2 is reserved for low budget airlines.

Hi I have a MNL-SG flight soon but I have 11hrs layover in KLIA2. Will I be allowed to go out of the airport to visit the city during the layover?

Hello. If you are also a Philippine passport holder, we are visa free in Malaysia for 30 days.

Is there a shorter way from airplane to immigration arrivals hall if we declare a senior citizen using a wheelchair ? The walk is so long.😅

find a flight that stop at KLIA1 better. I took Batik Air in March after get out from airplane it take only 4-5 mins to reach the immigration like super near and if you walk quite fast i think less than 4 mins lol not gonna lie

@@fionalittlegirl thank you for your help, however we already travelled to KL last December and landed at klia2, it was not that long walk and my senior parent were able to manage it. We had a great time there, hoping to come back and see other places in MY.

Hello ma'am. We're going for a trip to kuala Lumpur tomorrow but here's the problem since i have health issue i didn't get any vaccinations shots so in short I don't have a vax card or anything records about the vaccine. Is there a chances that my flight will be offloaded in immigration?

Hi Albeb. We travelled to Malaysia last Sept 2022, they’re open to all tourists, regardless of the vaccination status. No quarantine, no pre-arrival or post arrival testings. But You may also check the latest tourism updates from their official website po. Possible at the check-in counter, they might look for your vax card but you may just say it’s not required in Malaysia and present a printed copy of Malaysia’s latest covid travel updates. Also it can help if you get an insurance with COVID coverage. Have a safe trip.

Hi Remoel. As far as I know, Filipino citizens are free tourist visa for 30days in Malaysia. In my experience, the Malaysian Immigratiin officer only asked for my passport. Thanks.

This has to be one of the worst terminals in the world and I've been to a fair few of them. It's an embarrassment to Malaysia and a nightmare to pass through.

prolly 10-15 mins depend on the speed of your walking haha if you dont want to waste time please find a flight to KLIA1 better! I took Batik Air recently and only 4-5 mins walk until reach the immigration lol very nearrrr this is my normal walking speed since I keep talking on the phone while walking but if you walk quite fast will be less than 4 mins haha

Hi Mariam. I am not familiar with the specific arrival gates. Please always check with your airline company. There’s KLIA 1 and KLIA 2 Thank you.
