It may be an old settlement in small Chinese city but it's all clean and road infrastructure is quite good.

You may also show other parts of the same city to get an idea how many people are there or what percentage of people or locality it constitutes in the city.

Thank you for your suggestion. This will be my next task. Usually, the outskirts of a city have different scenery, and residents tend to adapt their lives more to the local conditions.

You don't call this a slum. The houses are made of brick or concrete and I believe they have clean water, power and flushing toilets. There are also all kinds of shops and the streets are quite clean. I think if slum dwellers in India, Indonesia or the Philippines would be very happy if they could live in this town.

I can't recall any place in China is qualified to be called "slum". There are a lots in India, south America, Philippine, etc., but not in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.

Hong Kong's Cage Homes can be considered a form of "slum."I watched a Hong Kong TV station interview with a woman living in Cage Homes. She cried and said she hadn't eaten meat for a long time. You can search for programs produced by RTHK; I remember it was in one of their reports on social life. As for China, there are also many places that are overlooked and uncared for. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHOoiYx7iqeJhsU

Looks just like Indian villages.

Is this true? I previously watched a video about Chinatown in Kolkata, and some buildings there also had similar colors. But I don't know how common it is.
