Thank you both. Yes, Logan certainly enjoyed his "zoomies" that day!

Wonderful walk through that super countryside of Dorset. I particularly liked that Manor House at the beginning. The sheer beauty and the tranquility is something to behold. Those little stream's, almost crystal clear, make nature at its best. Thanks Dave, as usual will subscribe.

Thank you. The River Stour is one of my favourite rivers to visit.

So happy to have found these videos of such good quality Dave. As newcomers to north Dorset we are exploring the area and the videos are so helpful and informative and will take us to a few new places. Thank you for the historical content too. We also find Logan’s zoomies very entertaining.

Nice video Dave. I do agree Logan looked very confused about the maze. The fish jumping at Cut Mill looked like a reasonable catch for the fisherman. It's a shame they did not leave the mosaic there, I feel.

Thank you Dave. The Mill hasn't changed too much since Jack was there!

Hi Dave, We did the Hinton St Mary walk yesterday. Very enjoyable. Although you said it wasn’t really a winter walk we went because we were fairly confident that the path along the Stour would be frozen - and it was fortunately. Otherwise it would have been very boggy - especially after the floods. It was also a good dog walk and Tess enjoyed it tremendously with only a few short sections on the lead. Thanks again for the inspiration. John, Sally and Tess

Certainly an a-mazing walk for Logan!! With zoomies, squirrels and an almost dog dip. Only thing missing was the blackberries though probably getting a bit late in the year for them. And sustenance for both soul from the Stour and body from the pint for you!! I do admire your ethic in fully researching every pub on a walk!!
@DaveFord10 ай бұрын
Thanks Jean. Yes, Logan & I always enjoy the "visiting the pub for research purpose only" bit!

Lovely walk Dave, and fancy the blacksmith finding a Roman mosaic beneath his feet, it looked fairly intact from the photo, but what a shame if it was broken up. Only ever driven through Hinton St. Mary, but that pub will definitely need checking out as you can't go wrong with Butcombe Ales
@DaveFord10 ай бұрын
It is a lovely pub and the staff were very friendly too (the Landlady made sure that Logan had a dog biscuit!).

I think Logan was somewhat bemused by you walking around that wee maze. It’s a blooming shame such a wonderful mosaic was dug up and moved to London.

Yes, I am sure that Logan thought that I had gone mad!
