Haters gonna hate, don't give them any attention. Thanks for bringing these glareing problems to the spotlight and doing actual measurements to validate they are resolved. If you get a chance, you should also mention to Caddx that it's so overkill to be running 60 or 100 fps output in standby mode. This causes the media processor to overheat the 1s VTX's just as fast as full power output because the encoder is still processing the h.265 compression at the full frame rate. I don't want to compare, but O3 seems to run at some low frame rate when the the quad is disarmed. Thanks again for putting all of these videos together, you're such a valuable asset to this little community of ours ❤

You always have honest, and reliable content. Im so close to changing from 03 for all the things you mentioned. The only draw back for me is the constant product releases from WS, i get they need to make money, but with the goggle release i wish they hand the the "new" module installed and then bragged about future proof. So now ill wait again for the next release.

You found a potentially disastrous issue with these goggles, published it, Caddx have addressed it, and fixed it. They'll land in customer's hands (me inc) in a far far better way as a result. I wish you didn't feel the need to over-explain to these idiots who accuse you of being a shill. For the fpv pilot who is really into all aspects of the hobby, long range, freestyle, wings and planes, tinywhoops, builds etc DJI is basically dead. They are simply not versatile enough. They are catering to the the pilot who just wants to buy and fly, and does not even want to solder. And that's ok. If it was up to them we would all be flying with the motion controller

To be able to produce a video like the dutch drone gods are useing thier analog relaysystem for thier fpv MTB Downhill Drone Videos with Red Bull? Is it true that such a system can outperform walksnail and DJI in Penetration?

Don’t worry as soon as you say anything nice again about HDZero or DJI the Walksnail users will get their pitchforks out again, the problem is as soon as someone says “product supplied by” nobody trusts what the reviewer says. You can blame the likes of Drone Camps RC and UAV Futures with their clickbait titles for this. But as a DJI user, I totally agree with you, they suck and don’t listen to the community, if I could switch to Walksnail I would., but I can’t, paying the rent and buying food comes first,

Hi Ian. First of all, thank you for your videos, they are also often seen in Switzerland. Keep up the good work. Just received my new Goggles X and noticed the following problem: -The goggles get very warm on the right side. As a result, the right-hand screen switches off after approx. 10 minutes. After a short break it works again, but is very tedious. Do you know anything about this? Does Walksnail say anything about this? Greetings from Switzerland, Chris.

It’s not an issue I have seen. However there are more and more reports of overheating popping up. This is something I’m watching closely.

Hello Ian, i have read a lot of complaints about the analog receiver but in your videos you seem happy with it (especially with the interference issue fixed). Would you recommend these goggles for a pilot who flies mostly analog? I am trying to justify buying an analog only goggles over these.

there is no receive but AV input on g X , they are introducing analog module on top on it but I will just print a socket and place fatshark analog module on top of goggleX with DVR (yes analog DVR is not included in g X "yet")

@@vilisseranen YT just removed my comment due to sharing product name. so just goggles for fatshark compatible diversity 48ch receiver and runcam analog DVR, they are easy to wire. caddx has been sharing there will be analog top module sell separately in their official page.

When the main point of a product is half baked it concerns me a bit. releasing this goggles with analog Rf issue was a mistake to begin with. I am wondering if they are trying to get ahead of DJI before they release their new goggles 🤔

Remember it’s not actually released yet. We have pre release units and this was picked up in that testing and it’s been resolved. It’s not great at all I was overlooked but it’s been fixed before it hit the shelves.

The latency won’t change but the TX issue has been fixed. I don’t know if there will be any analog optimisation possible.

That has been resolved in new firmware. We are not sure what version they will ship with the the first public firmware will resolve this. When anyone receives their goggles just update and you will be good to go.

I disagree with you about the best system. Penetration and image quality have to be the priority, I'm not youtuber/reviewer that want to try the system all the time to check if works good in certain condition, how is the frame rate, bitrate etc, i just want to use and forget about the problem, even though i like to build quads. But Caddx is trying, they are still in 2nd place and I don't care about DJI doesn't listen, this is something overvalued for something that works very good. About you being sold, I totally disagree with that, you're always doing a great job, showing us a lot information about everything related to FPV, different of a lot others who just do flight reviews that doesn't add anything for the users ....
