In this video I talk about how to install your own wall mounted Pressure Washer system for light work like washing cars for $290. The pressure washer can still be removed to use elsewhere in the house. This setup will likely not work if you do pressure washing for a living.

So I've only used this pressure washer one time. kzbin.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP The one time I used it, it worked great. I recently had new siding installed but kept the old gutters and small areas surrounding my house that weren't replaced so they looked horrible and dirty because of the new siding. I needed to get it cleaned asap. When I used the pressure washer, man it just melted all the dirt and grime that was on those areas of my house. I used that krud kutter soap and it was over after that. Easy to assemble, feels durable, very simple to use. Also, I purchased a used one to save money and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get more use out of it so I think I'll be washing the cars and update this comment as time goes on.

From the UK here and your set up is so awesome. One of the hassle for me, is getting everything out, set up to wash and then putting everything away. Which is why, I go to a car wash or sometimes not bother but your set up, is very cheap and will pay of in the long one. I will differently look into have a set up like yours but my house doesn't have a garage. Most likely, I probably mount it on the side of the house, brick wall and build some sort of enclose around it, protect it from the elements. Also, you explained evrything so well and I like how everything is neat, really pleasing to look at. Awesome tutorial.

Thanks for watching. My biggest hassle has also getting everything and and it putting it away so, ended be not washing the car or using a car wash. Now I can do every Friday before the weekend in like 10 min and keep the car clean! Our prices here are about $10-$20 each time for the car wash so this saves a lot!

@@LifeHacksExtreme That is the reason I don't bother and sometimes I don't do it. In my area, think it ranges from anywhere from £15 to £25, depends on where you go so if you wash your car, once or twice a month, it adds up, especially since me and my husband both have cars so very expensive to wash cars. I showed him your set up, he was so impressed with it and said we differently need to do something like that for our house. Even spending £300 will pay it off in a year and honestly, it will be really nice to drive the car without having mud and bird poo on it. Currently, researching on the parts, best places to buy. Only issue is, we don't have a garage but a drive way, so we are thinking, maybe building a enclosure on the side of our house. But anyway, awesome clean design....differently inspired me to do DIY again.

Dude this is awesome. My budget setup is definitely like the one on the left that you were showing at the beginning of the video. LOL.. it works so I can’t complain. However, your version is so nice it’s not one of those crazy extreme garage set ups, but it is truly nice. I love the way you ran water to the unit, I may steal that idea for a future weekend project. well done tip of the hat to you my friend.

love it!! I figured this out myself years ago (painfully) I wish I had you to guide me... I recently took it to the next level with a retractable hose real... very difficult to find the right hose real that could handle the pressure, but, I will share it here: REELCRAFT PW7600 OHP, I used the Karcher 50ft hose that is 5/16" (Model:9.558-124.0) because it is narrower, has higher velocity and is more flexible than other hoses (my personal preference). I also used a different wand, MTM foam canon, and a CAT-1800.... This is an Excellent Video!!!

I've recently set up own budget pressure washer system using a Kracher K1700 Cube/Kobrajet 50' hose. I have the same foam cannon, the original MTM I've had for years. Looking to replace the orifice in it to a 1.1mm to get better foaming action. Just curious why you opt not to go for a wide spray pattern when laying down the foam, seems more work that way. I have a black vehicle, so I couldn't go without my CR spotless DI filter.

The foam cannon I have had for years when I didn’t do any research on what’s the best one. Got to admit, it’s probably time to look at a better option for better foam/wide spray pattern. For this video I was mostly focused on wall mounting it.

Nice! How’s the vibration through the wall with the pressure washer? Also I don’t know if you’re in a cold climate area. If so I would install a drain valve on the lowest point of the PVC so you can drain it. If it freezes the PVC will break.
@LifeHacksExtreme
@LifeHacksExtreme Жыл бұрын
The vibration is not noticeable inside the house. There is some sound that comes through on the lower level of the house. Yeah, I do live in cold climate and the PVC pipe is easily removed from the faucet for drainage in cold weather.

The brass / silver hose connected to your faucet, I plan to connect it to the splitter on my washer in the garage. Is the metal hose with brass connector included with the pressure washer? I think the splitter is 3/4" and i would have buy another long garden hose to reach the pressure mounted near the exit. Does the washer take 3/4' garden hose?
@LifeHacksExtreme

Yeah the pressure washer takes 3/4 garden hose. All the connectors inside the garage were included in the hose reel or the new pressure washer gun. The connectors outside the garage by the facet were purchased extra.

that washer cannot be mounted facing down on the wall like that. oil needs to circulate and having it on its side will drastically wear the oil pump oil is having a hard time fighting gravity. I only know because I rebuild pressure washers that fail due to not running them correctly. it's your risk though. you should remount it facing upwards in normal sitting position mounted on a shelf is way better for the unit. good set up though

That PVC pipe outside, unless you install a drain to drain the standing water in the pipe, better live in the tropics, because it will freeze and will bust up your pipe during winter time
@LifeHacksExtreme
@LifeHacksExtreme 2 ай бұрын
Thanks. Winter just passed and the pipe was just fine in snow/ice. I disconnect it which drains most of the water. The little water in there evaporates, or has room to expand. You can also blow a little from the pressure washer end and that pushes all water out.

The orifice upgrade as previously mentioned will help. Also get your soap to water ratio dialed in and adjust for a wider fan from the spout. The pressure washer itself isn’t the greatest tbh. Neither is mine but it’s a bit stronger. Greenworks electric 2100 psi and 2gpm. More water flow and pressure helps with the foam.
