@@srikarkumar2740 I have no idea. It will run all day long but be aware that these machine have a shorter life expectancy than a commercial unit and when it fails there is no replacement parts to fix it. Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use kzbin.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

Absolutely love that pressure washer set up you have. Love the organization of it, colors of it, etc. It's the perfect set up. You show that even on a budget, weekend warriors and enthusiasts can have a great set up in their garage and like you said, "have a high end user experience", for not a ton of money. You see a ton of videos on the high end stuff and everybody drools over it, yet not many people can afford it. With your system, I personally think it LOOKS better than most of those high end systems and I would be thrilled to have just the convenience of it in my garage. I think most people getting into detailing more seriously could afford this set up which is great. I also love what you did with your vacuum, modifying it for a wall mount system like those higher end vacuums, but again, for the budget minded person who wants the EXPERIENCE of the high end garages, you give great options here. Thanks for posting. I really enjoy your videos and your enthusiasm......YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

been reading that if not a commercial system adding a longer hose and/or thicker hose like a 3/8" can add strain to your pump long term. Are you or others having problems with this model using a 100' 3/8" hose
@HawaiiDetailing3 жыл бұрын
I used this rig for over a year with no problems. I used it a lot. I highly recommended it. It’s a great starter unit for the detail enthusiast and even works well when used every day. Keep in mind thought that these 100 dollar range machines have a much shorter life span than the $700-$1000 commercial pressure washers. That life varies based on use and care of equipment. Check out my new setup in my video list. It’s a commercial unit. It’s the way to go if you want many years of service out of it in a commercial setting.

I don’t think you need it unless it’s very cold where you live than hot water would be a great idea. There are machines that are designed for hot water but they get pricey. You could run tap water that is hot as long as it’s not too hot. There should be specs to support the hottest temp that can be used somewhere. I live in Hawaii so I just don’t need it. I don't suppose anyone has managed to find a work around for using this in the UK? Its obviously a 120V pressure washer and in the UK we use 230V mains. I understand you can get devices to step up/down power but as the washer has a 13 Amp draw it would mean a MASSIVE convertor to deal with at least 1560 Watts. What about the lower flow rate? I currently have a gas pressure washer that is 2200 PSI and 2.2 GPM. I don't like the hassle of dragging it out, setting it up, supplying gas and oil, etc. A setup like yours looks awesome. I know I probably don't need the pressure I've got, but I worry that the lower flow rate would be a let down. What do you think?
@HawaiiDetailing3 жыл бұрын
The Karcher is a great entry level pressure washer with about a 1.3 gpm. There are higher flow rate electric pressure washers out there but they are a lot more money. I am very happy with my setup but it does have less flow rate than what you are used to. In the future I plan to get a high end unit but this Karcher is working so well it is hard to justify spending 10x on a better one. My thought is if you want to switch to a wall mounted unit with a reel but want to keep the cost down and still have a great user experience than this kit is it. Upgrading down the road is always an option and you would be fully set up to do it. If money is not a problem and you want a commercial style rig than go with the Kranzle option I have in the description and don’t look back. Either way you will be happy. I have a gas pressure washer that sits in the corner unused since I built this rig. I use it for cleaning the driveway and that’s about it. Hope that helps. @@timdrabik6113 yes they need to to tightened for sure. Use about 5-7 wraps of Teflon tape and tighten to a sensible torque where it’s plenty tight but not a crazy amount that will damage the threads. Be sure to secure the other side with a wrench while you tighten it so it does not put a strain on any components. That should fix up any leaks.

@@anthony3953 when you buy a nozzle (ex. 40 degree tip) you choose the size of the orifice. You pick the orifice that matches your goals with pressure and volume of water. For my setup I use a 40 degree nozzle and a 3.0 orifice. There is a link in the description for this nozzle. Open it and look at the choices you have when purchasing. Do you have a Karcher? No the machine does not need to be changed. The pressure Vs. Gallons Per Minute is all corrected within the nozzle.
