This was the first flip kindof thing I leanrnt in freerunning, I learnt it last year by having a palate against my fence and working it up to straight :)

I don't even do parkour anymore I just enjoy the physics involved with doing these tricks, thats why I watch.
@jordanstewartnz9 жыл бұрын
when learning this trick, don't drill it too much in one day, I made that mistake and have pretty bad problems with my wrist now, its almost better now after about 4 months, also, as you take off into the wall spin, throw your arms upwards to get more height and power into the spin, don't throw them forwards into the wall, that loses all your height and is another reason my wrist got damaged,just take to note, I can do it perfectly on a fully vertical wall even though I come in at a 45 degree angle when Jesse goes straight at the wall, so play around with it to see what works best for you, try both, one more thing, its almost impossible to hurt yourself because you can see the ground the whole time, thanks for the tutorial Jesse! I'm gonna give some of your tips a go to see if I can do it even easier now

Old comment, but have you mastered the b-kick yet? It isn't really much of a step up from that. Just tuck in while you are launching and you will naturally rotate around doing a b-twist.

Hey Jesse LaFlair or whoever may know, I got a question. What are the best THREE moves to learn when first starting parkour?
@twocolorsocks94379 жыл бұрын
Lazy vault,side vault, stride, turn vault and step vault. ik it's more than 3 BUT these r 3 essential basic moves.
@TheWhatnever9 жыл бұрын
+OppositeSide Official Well these are all vaults. As for starting off i would suggest step vault, Pk roll and precision. These are rather easy to learn and a prerequisit for almost everything else.

It's always so awkward for me to get that sideways rotation. You say to kick your legs, however I can't wrap my head around how you are kicking at that angle while generating enough force to spin.
@jordanstewartnz9 жыл бұрын
the kick isn't generating the spin, its just a bit extra to make it easier, its easy as without kicking aswell
@jordanstewartnz9 жыл бұрын
and the rotation will just automatically come to you one day, it takes quite a few tries of almost landing on your face but one day you'll land it just about perfectly all at once

Jesse going at a wall spin straight angle isent good because running forward and then channelling your momentum another direction is not good its too hard if you go at a 45 degree angle buy going close to the wall and punching the ground your momentum goes upwards and its absolutely impossible and I'm saying "IMPOSSIBLE" FOR US to have our momentum take us that far because our momentum has shifted upwards from going at the wall 45 degrees so how can our momentum still travel the way we are running when the wall stops us from that AND we are sending our momentum upwards. The wall is stopping you from doing that I don't think you understand physics that well I hope you and many Parkourist 's are reading this because going at it in a 90 degree angle is not the right way at all. Its much harder you will see so many parkourists doing it at a 45 degree angle Jesse if you just understood physics you would have changed the entire description on this video. #Ashamed 😒 P.S.... please respond
