Absolutely Not! Sure it will look great but it's not easy. Even with 24 years of experience, Its a real pain to install

If you have a fireplace mantle and a door frame to cut out on the same wall, should one be done first? The fireplace mantle sticks out so much further than the door. Also, do you do the same process to cut out the mantle as the door frame?

Out of curiosity how much weight could these hold if say a cat were to climb them? We purposefully would like to somehow mount a rug/carpet onto the wall so our tree-loving but indoor-only cat can do his thing and be a happy little boy

It is easier if you’re doing a welt, trim or gimp. Use a contour gauge to get the shape. Transfer the shape to 1/4” plywood and cut out with a gig saw.

Thank you! We were planning on using a cord to cover. Is wood lattice still necessary if we are doing that? Or can I staple directly into drywall and cover with the cord? Thank you so much helping us novices!
@NYDRAPERYGUY80009 ай бұрын
@@KristiHayden-ph5qm I wouldn’t recommend not using the wood lattice. Unless it’s going to be temporary.

Thank you for such thorough instructions! Questions: How do you hide the staples at top? Are the edges of the fabric around the door frame and along base boards cut edges, and how do you conceal them? I subscribed! Thank you!
