Jen, my body shape is very similar to yours, the only difference is, my torso is longer, which I think makes me look more strange. BUT, about the butt....I find that the midrise jeans give the appearance that my butt is proportionally smaller. High rise gives the appearance that I have a lot more butt. I know that stylists say the opposite, but that's just what I see. Looking at you trying on jeans I think the midrise does the same for you as for me. If your legs are shorter than your torso, then midrise would not be helpful for making your legs look longer. But your and my legs are a bit longer than our torso or at least the same so I think we can get away with it. I actually like the look of #10 on you. The rise is perfect for proportions the straight leg is actually very flattering on you and it would look great pairing them with combat boots, Booties, loafers with colorful socks or platform sneakers would look great! Besides the gap in the back, I think the fit is very flattering. #5 is very flattering and go with the darker. #3 looks pretty good, and the pockets don't stick out enough to be ''widthen'' ! #2 is very flattering, the darker wash saves it, but the length....#1 is good, but go with a darker wash or wear brighter tops with it that cover half of your butt. That high of a rise is not bad, it makes your legs look longer but the butt looks longer too. I would definitely try the Daisy SF jeans for myself just to see how I like it and wear a relaxed fit top that comes just below my hips to cover part of my butt for minimization. I would try the also try #10 for myself. Thanks Jen!! So happy for you on your weightloss Journey! Remember it's about the lifestyle of eating, not just a diet to lose weight.
