TY for keeping it real! I've couponed for 47 yrs and did the mail in rebates way back when but I've seen the changes due to a lot of abuse. You used to only have to send in a proof of purchase or write the UPC on the rebate form. Then they started requiring receipts to verify people actually purchased the items. I did not do the Old Spice deal and I thought about it as I donate items like that to the food pantry. I decided not to rush out due to the timing and how busy it was but I also wondered if there would be any items left as this was all over the net and I know that many people have 2,3,4 accts and figured this was a disaster waiting to happen. I can't imagine the thousands of dollars Old Spice lost before it was pulled and it wasn't shopkick that lost the money - it was the manufacturer - Shopkick, Fetch, Ibotta is only the middle man. I'm going to continue to use Shopkick but if a deal seems too good to be true - it probably is.

I think that’s why so many things change is trying to stop abuse of the system. Just imagine if all those returning items submitted for the P&G rebate too 😬 Shopkick should have handled it differently for sure, but there’s not much you can do about it honestly. It’s just the way it goes sometimes 🥰 I used Shopkick yesterday on the Ben & Jerry’s at Publix and it worked perfectly 😆

I didn't do the OS deal but I will admit, I have had numerous issues with SK in the past...kicks not being awarded correctly, "image not legible" messages, etc. So, after I saw what was going on with other couponers, I cashed out my account, deleted my account and deleted the app. It's not worth the frustration and stress. I do appreciate you commenting on how it wasn't "silly" for others to do the deal expecting SK to honor their offers. From watching a lot of coupon influencers, I've learned that many of them do resell. I'm sure when they see such a great deal, they're going to jump on it. I've decided to stick with the four/five other rebate apps that I have and leave the rest of the unpredictable/shady ones to others. When I watch influencers, I always jump pass the offers where you all discuss an app I don't use...like, social nature, brand club, flavorwiki. I'll just add SK to that list now. Happy New Year!

I didn’t get the most recent Ibotta bonus but that’s ok. Not a whole lot of deals right now. I do appreciate how you and Jodi dealt with the Shopkick issue. Honestly, we never had anything even close to what shoppers have available to them these days with all the rebate apps. They made a mistake. A bad mistake….but I also believe everyone makes mistakes. They are all free to us to use. It’s easy to get mad but in this issue I’m just looking at the good things….being grateful for anything that I get. And I cash out right away. And…..take the items back….no shame in returns. Thanks Michelle!

Mine just showed up this morning! No, there’s really not much going on. Thank you 💞 I started out clipping coupons on Sundays and keeping them in a binder😂 Yes, they could’ve handled it much differently. We’ve just got to use our heads about it and we’ll all be fine🥰 There are no guarantees, but we still just need to have fun with it 💞 No there’s not! Good video & I appreciate your channel. I’m personally not deleting or boycotting Shopkick which I’ve noticed has been ask by others to do (not by you). I buy small for it just being myself plus my dog lil man. I don’t resale & normally I don’t even get enough to get the bonuses. Actually I put stuff in a local churches community box to help others when I see I’m not using stuff up. I see & understand what happened with the Old Spice deal which is very unfortunate. I guess my only thing & I highly commend you on how you handled your approach because others got to cussing on videos that rather shocked me. I’m allowed to have my phone at my job plus I can watch videos which is wonderful but it’s gotta be PG13. When suddenly my phone starts blaring all these non PG13 words I nearly fell trying to get my phone silenced 😳 I again understand ppl get mad (do it myself) but it was just kinda shocking and after a few repeated same content videos I’ve just had to not watch during work hours. I also agree if you don’t have the money then don’t gamble. Only purchase what you need and once you can cash out then cash your money out. Anyways the Shopkick/Old Spice thing is a big mess but at the end of the day it’s all how we handle it. Thanks again for your videos & I wish that I had better luck with the Brand Club, Social Nature, Aisle & Flavorwiki……rarely do I get any deals and/or I don’t understand the apps 🤦‍♀️🙄🤷‍♀️….thanks Jamie & lil man from Kentucky 🤗
