Ever consider making a Crock Pot Dinner? You could get a big pot roast, A large 10 lb. bag of russet potatoes and a couple large bags of carrots and onions. Then all of you the night before sitting up peeling all of the veggies. Put them in large gallon size zip lock bags after cutting up. The next morning put the roast and all the veggies in the largest crock pot you can get. Put the Roast, a few cans of cream of mushroom soup, A few packets of Lipton Onion Soup Packets, A few cans of Cream of tomato soup and abit of Beef Broth, set on low and let it cook all day 8 to 10 hrs. even. Then just make some biscuits and serve up. This will incorporate a different meat then you are used to and also be something where the kids all could teach us to make a homemade dinner from scratch. I started my kids cooking in the kitchen with me when they were 6 yrs. of age. Just a thought.

It is always the little things that bring us the most joy. Smelling a wax cube may not mean much to someone else but to you it means a lot. It reminds you of the good times you had with Andrea.

The waxcubes making you happy is not a dumb thing Tom. It is often the little things that can make us most happy, things that bring back important memories or just little things to enjoy in the moment. Good smell, little pretty things (like shiny blue foil) or something beautiful in nature like a butterfly, a pretty flower or a rainbow. But it can also be something less fysical. A nice story, a little bit of help, some neighbourly attention, people sharing what they have with others, a warm smile in the cold. Just little things, but they can mean a lot

My uncle passed unexpectedly on july 28 and i have some very fond memories of him. Lost both grandpas is 2005 and still have things remind me of them. Dont ever feel like something as simple as smelling candle melts ever make you feel silly. They are your memories.

When I first saw you guys, I did not know what to think of because everybody with large families keep doing these kind of logs. However, when made you stand out for me was the way you would talk to yourself about what your wife would’ve done and circumstances and that is wonderful, sometimes men forget that their wives are always prison with them, no matter where they are. It put a smile on my face at a time when my disability is causing me so much pain to the point of causing me to go into a depression. I suffer from such, chronic and worse pain 85% of my body and I just wanna say thank you for putting a smile on my face at the worst time for me

An idea for the cake! Because the kids love peanut butter so much, you could mix it with some white frosting to make a peanut butter frosting. Then it would be the perfect chicken nugget colour, and the peanut butter would taste delicious with the chocolate

I always make my beef rest in a slow cooker. It's so easy. Just add carrots, potatoes and beef broth. Onion slices also give the roast flavor. Cook on low for 6 hours.

Much cheaper of a trip! I’ve been eyeing the filled crescent rolls too but haven’t been brave enough to try them. The cherry are better? Would be fun to have Asher and Judah do a solo trip (since they both drive now) to see the total time difference and their silly antics of course! Thursday idea- do an updated lunch/dinner shopping challenge like you did in the past (probably up the amount given as prices have drastically increased).

Put icing in a ziploc bag and cut tiny hole in bottom corner to squeeze out and and write with icing. Get one can white icing and color a small amount with your choice of color. Or mix powdered sugar with butter and some vanilla to make icing.

Might be worth a walk though the clothing section each time you visit Walmart see what bargains you can pick up, probably easier than having to fit a specific time for clothes shopping, just pick things up as they kids need and what you find :)

Maybe get some white frosting, 2 cans. Then you can mix some yellow food coloring in it (to kind of get the color of a chicken nugget) then decorate after you finish frosting it.

German chocolate cake frosting could be used for frosting the chicken nugget cake. It is the right texture and color unless your family doesn’t like coconut.
