Walmart truck taking truck parking 1 mile from his own dc !! why ?

Why a Walmart parked in a truck parking lot in gas city in 1 mile from the dc and he is out of? Like not much parking close to that dc for drivers delivering.
Walmart was there for a 10 hour break. Was parked next me most night before I left 3 am.

I do this often at Walmart. Mostly at a store close by though. Much easier to get off of the yard and start your next day hooked vs wasting 45 minutes getting paperwork, getting hooked, and getting outgated.

Well you know we have hos to follow also.... and gas city is a grocery dc with limited parking . Not only that what if he was just stopping to get a shower and something to eat. A majority of grocery dc drivers run night , especially meat and produce. I won't park at grocery dc's because of all the noise.
