I have watched a number of your videos and enjoy them very much. As I watch you backing in to spots so easily, I am remembered of when I started driving in 1970, no power steering with big steering wheels to help you counter act all the weight you were having to overcome. When power steering started to come in and you didn't have it, you had "Arm Strong Power Steering". 🙂

My uncle would stop at his house in Peoria Illinois and bring extra fruit like oranges and once in a while would bring nice looking steaks. He made a special trip to Georgia from the carpet mills that my Dad had wanted, which was very nice to cut out the middle man.

I made a drop in Hermiston, Oregon this morning & as I was driving along 84 E. on the Columbia river I seen the most awesome site 4 bighorn sheep 🐑 along the side of the highway getting their morning meal.The rams horns were huge & the bighorn sheep were healthy 300-450 lbs.Awesome animals.

Elk are a very sacred animal to the native Americans.I used to go elk hunting in Idaho my dads brothers live in various parts of Idaho.If you e ever hunted elk & you put down a bull & once you come up to the downed bull they are HUGE as big as a horse 🐴.

I was at this D.C. just before Christmas and it was so full. I had to make a spot to park. I was able to get an empty and be on my way. The D.C. on the other side of the road is so much less busy. I prefer dropping there.

The DC on the other side of old DC was setup for dry goods only. I was fortunate enough to be one of the first drivers to deliver there when it first opened. Drive Safe..

When we moved from Florida to Missouri we had filled 2 pup trailers and after we arrived in a few days they would bring them to our property which is in the boonies. I pulled our equipment trailer with tractor and my wife pulled a small trailer with lawnmower. She had our 3 cats in the back of her car and my pickup was full in the bed and cab, just enough room for me. The roads through Alabama might have been the worst. I know that Illinois roads suck, lived there for 57 years. Missouri roads aren't too bad but it seems as though they can't keep their vehicles in their own lane. We are living in a very small town, the sign doesn't say anything about population, compared to out skirts of Fort Myers.

Just a helpful hint, when reversing u seem to focus only on the driver side mirror for the most part just be mindful to keep that head on a swivel anything or anyone can pop up on that passenger side unexpectedly

They have a ‘fuel solution’. Meaning they tell you where and how much. But drivers can ask for new solutions if it doesn’t work well or they miss the turn off. 😉

Crete trucks all have the fifth wheel locked down....they go after shippers that over load trailers so we rarely get loads above 44k

We do run it out most of the time. No…we don’t start up when 10 is over. Kevin likes to start between 5 and 6 am. So no matter how long it’s been (minimum 10 hours, of course), he’ll trip plan and generally start between 5am to 6am.

Hey Frederick! Glad you enjoy the videos! Kevin is also a KW man (and likes Peterbilt too). We’ll be honest with you…Crete only has a few KW’s. Kevin tried getting one but didn’t hold the line like he did at Werner (which got him the KW). So he ended up in the Freightshaker. We met another driver who said he told them he wouldn’t drive anything else and ended up getting a KW. So…the answer to your question is that it’s possible to get a KW, but guess it depends either on luck of the draw or how good you are at negotiating and waiting. We put up with the Freightliner for the benefits that come with working at Crete. Less stress and more money than at Werner. Who do you drive for now?

@@fredrick8947 Yup…that was one of Kevin’s BIG pet peeves at Werner. He figured he wasn’t getting paid almost 10% of his actual driven miles. That adds up!!! Marten was our other top choice, especially because Kevin wanted the KW. But the Zip vs Practical was his reason for choosing Crete in the end. And we hang onto the hope he’ll get a KW at some point. @@charlesyell6318 They are for our subscribers. As I said, I mix it up. It’s passenger POV for the most part. A lot of our subscribers are interested in trucking, not just the windshield part. They want to see how Kevin drives the truck. So I film it all. Inside the truck. The truck from the outside. Through the windshield. Sometimes even selfie camera. Then I edit. Lots of variety. There are other channels that do only ‘through windshield’ with their dashcams. That’s not our style.
