You are a strong and... oh wait, wrong video. Nice save, Peter. It looks gorgeous. I would have liked to have a close-up view of the bottom to see how the plug "disappeared". When you first cut off the wings I said to myself that you had enough there to make a second box, so it is kind of funny how useful that turned out to be. So, cutting board next week? Ha!

That was a great save Peter, well done. Hollowing endgrain... use a sharp scraper, or negative rake scraper, like the rest of us and you will get a pretty good finish with no grief... well, unless you get too enthusiastic. I learned that tip from a professional turner of 55 years experience and it works. Best Wishes, Brendan.

wtf is baconsoda?
@baconsoda
@baconsoda 9 жыл бұрын
+Ratzmutz A 'bacon soda' is a meal made with fried Irish soda bread (bicarbonate of soda is the raising agent) and fried bacon, only bettered by the addition of a fried egg to make a 'bacon and egg soda'. Alternatively, you could have a 'sausage and egg soda' or, in extreme hunger, a 'bacon, sausage and egg soda'. A heart attack on a plate. Now you know. Best Wishes, Brendan.
