Honda All Day! Not sure why people don’t like Hondas because of timing belts. Chains wear and stretch, guides wear. Belts make the engine quieter, more efficient and refined. It costs $1,200 every 5-8 years, most pathfinder owners I know spend way more money on other breakdowns/maintenance. Honda is much more reliable.

Any issues with the windshield? I saw one reviewer say the laminate was improperly applied and caused refraction issues with oncoming lights.

I couldn't decide between the two but settled on 2024 Honda Pilot Trailsport. Traded my 2017 Pathfinder Platinum in for it. Super pleased with my decision! If you want the luxury feel inside and still have the rugged feel Trailsport is best. Nissan did not think it thru with Rock Creek how it will be used as daily drive and not just rugged.

Comparing these two trims makes sense when looking at the price point, and that's without considering dealer markups/higher resell value with Hondas and dealers discounts/lower used vehicle prices with Nissans.

Resale and reliability has to be Honda. I would take a Honda transmission over a Nissan transmission any day.

Hey honda. Its year 2024 and your still using timing belts? Hell no. I always go with the timing chain. Pathfinder or frontier for me.

Timing belt is the way to go. In the long term, chains and their components (tensioners) are wear items, and repairs are costly.
