Welcome to my first Walt Disney World/Orlando Vlog! There are going to be 9 in total so if you like travel vlogs make sure you subscribe so you don't miss any of them. :)
We spent February half term in Orlando, 9 nights in total, enjoying Walt Disney World, Universal and lots of hidden Orlando gems. In this video it's a travel day, we flew to Orlando from Gatwick with British Airways. And we also check into our first hotel - Disney's Contemporary Resort. We like to stay in different places while we are in Orlando as each one feels totally different.

I'm Katie, I live in the UK with my husband Jon and our 3 children aged 12, 10 and 6. I love photography, videography, generally being creative, and being outside whenever I can. We also love to travel, the last couple of years have obviously put a stop to that a little, but we are hoping to travel lots more in the future. I've been online for nearly 11 years, which is just crazy, and I am really proud of the lovely community I have built up on here and Instagram.

Watching this made me so emotional! We came back from Orlando in October and I still have post Disney blues! We have been a few times but not for years and October was my 4 year old daughter's first time. I was the embarrassing mum welling up the whole time watching the joy on her face. We always stay in a villa so really interested to see your split stay. Loving watching it from a real family perspective. You are a beautiful family. Enjoy! Looking forward to the next installment

I've only done Orlando once, but we did exactly the same. Hired a car and did other things besides Disney. We did discovery cove, the kennedy space station and ate at diners most nights. It was great because we actually felt like we'd seen a part of the US and not just Disney world

I think our American snacks might be better but the chocolate you all get over in England is SO GOOD! There is a store here called "World Market" and they have different food and drinks from around the world and the Cadbury chocolates they have from England are my impulse buy every time! The update to the Contemporary are really nice, my sister and I have it ranked as not the highest on our hotel stay list (contemporary design is not our esthetic) but I actually didn't think it looked bad from your video. Might have to reevaluate our list!

Thank you for sharing the travel vlog which i find interesting. I noticed you took 'One True Loves' by Taylor Jenkins Reid which I have just finished. Perfect for holiday reading as it's written in very short chapters so its easy to leave and pick up easily x I've just picked up 'After I do' by the same author hoping for another good reading experience.
