I too THOUGHT I longed for a granddaughter, but the minute we saw the sonogram and discovered God had other plans (!), I went and bought my little Ethan a jumpy seat thingy that looked like an old car ("Jitter Buggy") and he LOVED it! (Notice I didn't say I went out and bought him a pink Barbie car.) Walt's grandmother was twisted, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I'll bet she had her own interesting life story that made her that (sick) way. We're all in need of a Savior. Thank God for His Son, Jesus Christ and His sacrifice to save us from our sickness and sins. Bow the knee, as Walt has done.

EVERY ADULT in this story was doing it wrong to Walter: the grandmother, the molesting uncle, the parents and the psychiatrist. MORAL OF THE STORY: communicate with your children and teach them that “secrets” should not exist between them and anyone, however close

What a very sad story of how wrong seeds can be planted by family members. Some of us have things happen , but never get to talk about them to our parents. Secrets are kept to protect family members, but wound children in their souls. The failure to believe children who do tell is a tragedy and double wound. Thank you for sharing your story. It is time for healing and restoration to God’s purpose for our lives.

I wonder what happened with the grandmother that would cause her to do that to him? I wonder if she had struggles of her own? I know I boy I grew up with, his mom wanted a girl, but she just had the one son. She encouraged him to dress up, & to play with dolls (she even turned a spare bedroom into a doll room for him). It had over 500 Barbie dolls, most still in boxes. As a little girl, I thought the doll room was like walking in Disney Land. We would play for hours with the dolls. I remember as a child thinking it was a little strange him being a boy playing with dolls. But his mom would always defend her decision to buy him dolls & dress up clothing. When he graduated high school he came out of the closet. I always wondered, if she had just accepted him as a little boy, would his life turned out the same?

My (late) sister wasn't THAT "aggressive" in feminizing her second boy ... if she had done something that overt, I know several of us in the family would have stepped in [it's a complex story]. But she DID coddle him and baby him and give him a boy doll and in the end, he (not surprising to any of us) came out of the closet to all of us just months after she died (after a 15-year battle with breast cancer). He thinks he's a Christian because he was baptized as a boy and "I love God; this is just the way He made me." I have talked to him, sent him an understanding-the-struggle type letter with the Pure Passion DVD "Such were some of you" (I doubt he watched it), and yet tried to assure him I love him but that he's headed down the road to destruction. Prayer seems our only recourse as we watch his deviant lifestyle play out on Facebook. It is heartbreaking the grip Satan has on so many.

I share a lot with Walt, I don't remember any abuse. I did have a distant father and 2 younger sisters. I felt the loss of the focus of attention from my mother. Anger, depression, suicidal ideation, jealousy of my sisters. This at 6 years old. It left me mentally a woman. .
@jonathanclouse71395 жыл бұрын
I came from a similar family dynamic. I started crossdressing when my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was my way of coping with the possibility of losing her. I also first began learning about Christine Jorgensen at that time. Needless to say, I was diagnosed with Gender Identity Disorder, and had spent some time on cross sex hormones. But I thank God 1)that my parents refused to "affirm" my feelings and 2)that I was not financially able to pursue more radical treatments. Yes, at the time I was frustrated and angry. I even told my Mom that "I would kill myself if I wasn't a woman by the time I turned 30." But in the end, those factors bought me time to fully examine my life, explore my feelings, and spend years in therapy before I finally realized that I wasn't a woman on the inside, I was created as a man by God, and to permanently change that would be wrong.

I wonder if the family members who created this man's confusion to start with, have ever been held to account for their behaviour towards him, or ever became aware of how they were responsible for his confusion, during their life time. I also wonder whether his father, his mother, & his uncle were ever brought to account for the child abuse he suffered at their hands - the ultra-disciplinarian father, the uncle who molested him when he was a child, & the mother who took no action when informed of the molestation he had suffered at the hands of his uncle. I wonder whether these people were ever named & shamed or in some way held to account for their mistreatment of him.

Actually, most trans people come from extremely strict conservative households, and not from people who allow their kids to dress themselves and play the way they choose. I was quite feminine as a young girl, but went through a very long tomboy phase. Because nothing was pushed on me, I never felt like a boy just because I was dressed like one. I'm so thankful I wasn't a child in 2018 because many girls who are tomboys nowadays are pushed to transition to male! That's crazy to me! Just let kids be kids and if your child has true gender dysphoria, don't shame them, but get them real help. Don't put them under the knife.

I am not a transitioner. I have never been a transitioner. I have never effected a detransition from being one sex to go back to one's original sex. I imagine that would physically be a difficult process and sympathize with anyone, whose addiction towards a gender transition caused them to mutilate their body contrary to their health interests in the pursuit of the impossible. In his letter published on reddit.com, dated September 10, 2019, Abbley, Pansexual-Transgender Woman cautions detransitions not to speak out against the transgender community in a very public and damaging way as a number of transitioners are genuinely happy with their decisions. Abbley references Walt Heyer as example. [1] Regarding the proposition that some people are genuinely happy effecting a gender transition, I disagree. It is not that simple. Gender transitioning is a behavioral addiction much like a sex addiction that in the absence of proper treatment never concludes well. Some people are in stage five of the addiction, Exhaustion, and are disinterested in further energies spent on transitioning, while some people are in stage four of the addiction, Rapid Cycling, and are seeking further surgeries and other things they can do to achieve the same level of transitioning satisfaction they felt after the first major surgery. In all cases a gender transition is effectively an out-of-control train to nowhere. In all cases an individual who is sexually developed suffers from a behavioral addiction and not gender identity disorder. An Autoerotic Addiction disorder is routinely misdiagnosed as a Gender Identity disorder due to idealogical reasons. [2] All of the transitioners I have met (some I interviewed) have one thing in common in their respective life history; they all had a relative on their father's side who struggled with addiction. whether the relative was a father, an uncle or a grandfather on their father's side. The reason is the gene that causes addiction is passed from father to child, three times more likely to be passed to a male child than a female child. That is why the male to female ratio of transsexualism has been for the longest time 3:1. Now, due to the rise of the Internet and awareness of the possibility to change sexes and the imbalance of social opportunities between the sexes the proportion of female transsexuals have risen slightly out of proportion. In many cases gender transitioners, themselves, suffer from a multitude of addictions, both substance addictions and behavioral addictions. The reason is addictions rarely occur in isolation. As Abbley's posting was directed at Walt Heyer, I would like to thank Walt Heyer for his advocacy on the de-transition subject space as well as his personal efforts in caring for people like himself, whose transition became an out-of-control train to nowhere. Abbley is not doing people, who suffer from the same addiction he suffered from, any favors by affirming their transition as being well founded or appropriate for their respective health interests. On the contrary Abbley is contributing to their living, breathing delusion that one can be born in the wrong body and ultimately their life misery as their addiction advances to stage five. [1] Abbley's posting, published September 10, 2019 on reddit.com www.reddit.com/r/asktransgender/comments/d27q37/dear_detransitioners_extransgender_people/ [2] See material on Transsexualism as a Behavioral Addiction below. www.transgression.com/Books/TheTranssexualDelusion/OnlineMaterial/BehavioralAddiction.aspx?CountryISONumericCode=124&LanguageISOAlpha2Code=en G Eugene Pichler transgression.com
