It's crazy how one man could easily topple everything: Gus's drug empire, Saul's business, Jesse's life, Mike's life, the Salamancas, and Hank's life. All just because of his pride and ego. I'm just going to try and address this quickly since people keep on misconstruing my comment lol. I never said I hated Walt. I only meant that it's fascinating how he outsmarted the cartel, considering he was one man and new to the game. As for the pride and ego part, I just took that from Mike who stated "You, and your pride and your ego! You just had to be the man! If you'd known your place, we'd all be fine right now!" Walter was caught up in the thrill/adrenaline rush it gave him that it caused certain mistakes to happen like Hank and Mike's death as well as losing his family.

People wish that this is where BCS should end. I don't think that's a good idea because that makes it seem like it was all just leading up to this moment, takes away the importance of Saul's independent character and makes it about Walt. Knowing Vince and Peter, they will deliver perfection. Can't wait.

I always thought his, "D.B. Cooper" jab was a nice touch. Saul might be a criminal lawyer, but he's not a fool and let, "Mayhew" know he wasn't that slick. His background as a con artist was a part of his character from the start, meanwhile Walt's a novice at lawbreaking. Its very close. The one man whos face we couldnt see in last nights episode is also wearing a shirt identical to Walts, but the pants are a slightly different color. Plus, you hear the coughing quiet loudly. If they DO do it this way, its not identical... But close enough to pass it off.

Being a lawyer is a coping mechanism for losing Kim. He spends all his time doing it because its all he has left. Lost his father, mother, brother, and the love of his life left him. I think what we see is to be expected of someone who is trying to distract themselves from their horrible life.
