Steve Davis v Dennis Taylor - World Snooker Championships Final 1985 selected frames. This is a combined compilation of a few things all put together for the most comprehensive frames of the final so far on KZbin. Find it hard to believe that the most watched final ever is sadly missing in it's entirety on here. Somewhere in the world someone must have the whole of this final? Even if it was 1985! 18.5 million watched this final! Yet no one has it on VHS? And lastly thanks to people who have already posted stuff on here for me to make this as complete as it is. I couldn't have done it with out you.

i remember seeing steve playing dennis in the 1988 rothmans grand prix semi final october 22nd 1988. steve won 9_1. it was the first match i had ever seen of steve davis and he played alex higgins the following day. i was routing for alex but i watched the first frame of the final and steve knocked in a break of 137 in the very first frame of the final againsr alex. i remember clearly to this day. but i feel steve davis in 1988 was a better player and he played then at a very fluent pace around the table scoring very well indeed. in 1985 he played alot tighter. but he did say in 1988 that his very fluent scoring and play was due to shear confidence. steve went on the beat alex 10_6 in the 1988 rothmans grand prix final sunday october 23rd 1988.

I feel there will never ever be another game of snooker like this one .... unbelievable! ... where did Dennis find the inner strength to overcome a seemingly impossible position?

For fucks sake I wanted to watch it from the start when Davis and Taylor were at 0-0 so then I could see what it was like for Davis to race to 8 nil full steam ahead to then crashing just 9-7 ahead!!!!!! please someone upload it from the very start

If only I could get it. Nobody seems to have it. Yet fucking 18.5 million people watched it. The first 8 frames was the best Davis ever played so I heard. Would have been nice to see though. Come on people. Someone somewhere must have the whole of this match?

19:29 - Was this intentional? Because his face didn't make it seem intentional 😂😂

The potting of the red was obviously intentional but think he wanted to get on the green next and the cueball spun to the wrong side.

I think it is fair to say ... that Steve had burnt himself out a to a degree and perhaps ego had something to do with it ... in terms of taking the opponent for granted ... always a big mistake!
