I am also a Michigan Dad :P. I am researching on EDC for Walther PDP or Shield Plus. I am a big human with big hands (few more inches and alot more pounds than you), so I am leaning towards the Walther PDP. I appreciate your insight and content sir. Hoping to get out to the range soon to confirm my suspicions. Thanks again!

Ive tried so many different subcompacts for concealed carry but I always come back to compacts. My hands are just too big for those subs. I am currently testing out the Shadow Systems CR920X. Hopefully I can get this video out quick bc it is an interesting subcompact/hybrid

Great video. I like the Vedder Holsters V3 gun belt and the Hunter Constantine Carry Belt. I like to carry the P30sk. My pinky does hang off the end and I’ve pinched myself reloading but I haven’t found a better pistol that offers better combination of concealability, shoot ability, and comfort.

You should paint the cut edge of the slide lock. Get the Birchwood Casey matte black marker. Thanks for the video!

I was just looking into that actually. Thanks for the recommendation. 👍

Here for the gun, not the wallet and keychain 🤣. Love the PDP Compact 4”. I find it just as easy to carry as my smaller S&W. A good holster and a decent belt eliminates all concerns about printing.

@TMAquatics Haha that’s why I made that part as short as possible

I tried the PDP, it just missed on the size for me, i like a glock 19 sized gun. M&P 2.0 compact has been my new go to for now.

Yea I would too if more than half my pinky didn’t hang off the bottom

Hey man, another good video as always. I just wanted to drop you a line, I know it's a little late, but... I have actually made a change as well. I'm a Glock fanboy, I will not lie. And I have struggled for a while between the compacts, subcompacts, and the micros, like the 43x. But a couple of weeks ago, in no small part based on your reviews, I decided to look at a PDP. They had a Father's Day sale going on the green frame with ameriglow optics, and after I played with it a little bit I couldn't resist. Good heavens, that trigger. I switched it over to left hand configuration, and while I'm not really 100% on the optics yet, at least I'm giving it a little bit of a try. I didn't feel the need to shorten up the slide release, the way my grip is I guess didn't hit it. I have big hands as well (I'm 6'3", 350, so I'm not a little fella). Anyway, my G19 and 26 are still my go-tos, but that may change as I get enough rounds through the Walther. I really do like it so far. But I guess part of my point is that, like you, I too am finding myself gravitating back upwards to the larger frames. God bless, and keep them coming!

@@BlueRidgeCritter It’s funny you say that bc I have had this gun for over a year now. It seems like I am always trying to find excuses “not” to carry this gun. It wasn’t till a few months ago when I finally bought a holster for it and I haven’t looked back. Such a great firearm. I did one more modification to it which I will do a video on here soon. As well as a new optic. I just wish the slide wasn’t so chunky but that is by no means a dealbreaker. It is a dream gun for us guys with big hands! I’m glad you came to my side bc not many ppl carry it and I’m not sure why bc it is fantastic. I’m actually jealous I want the gray or green frame so bad lol 😂 I can only fit a sliver of my pinky on the g19 so I needed a bigger frame. The g45 frame feels great 👍 but it’s not great for concealed carry on my body. The PDP conceals like a dream on me. But that’s why I like doing videos so ppl can see the journey to find that perfect firearm

Are you using a wedge with the holster? If yes, which one?

I have one on my Glock holster from tier one concealed the small wedge but I don’t have one on this one. Honestly I can get away with not using one with my body type. It just depends how much stomach you have

I can but my gun obviously has to stay out of the school. I’ve confirmed this with multiple school safety personnel when I worked at various school. It’s hard being a conservative concealed carrier working at a school lol bc my mind constantly goes to school safety whereas the rest are purely focused on academia

Did you use your be a back pocket leather wallet guy?
@MichiganDad5 ай бұрын
I’ve always preferred smaller wallets for my front right pocket. It was always uncomfortable to sit in the truck with it in my back pocket and I found it silly to take it in and out of my pocket while in a vehicle. When it can stay in my front pocket and never have to take it out. These slimline wallets are a game changer for my style of carry for sure 👍

Why would the cops take your guns and not give them back?
@POPJack17179 күн бұрын
If you have to use it, that gun isn't getting returned for atleast a year while it sits in an evidence vault at the police station until the DA clears you or you're found not guilty at trial. If there is a trial, you aren't getting that gun back for 1-2 years.
