It is a wonderful show, I grew up to this show. I am grateful it still airs regularly. The same values that I grew up with. God's bessings.

I loved watching The Waltons. What a wonder thing to be able to build yourself a replica of the Walton's house and to live in it. That would be so awesome. I would have a sigh of relief. Ah...I'm finally at home. 🤗💕 That's how I'd feel if I could build my family and I a house like this. Thank you for sharing this video with us. ❤

I can still remember as a child every Saturday evening we would turn on the TV and look at the Walton's I can't remember what channel we love it this was in the 70's it was a special times

The actress to which you are referring is Beulah Bondi……her last performance as an actor was on The Walton’s when she played Zeb Walton’s widowed sister-in-law who did not want to give up the land on Walton’s Mountain where she and her husband settled, cleared the land and lived for 60 plus years and where her husband was buried. She is one of my most favorite actresses. If you want to see her in a wonderful movie for children, buy a DVD copy of one of my favorite movies for the last 70 years…it is called, “So Dear To My Heart”…I believe it came out in the late 1940’s. I first saw it when I was 4 or 5…now I have my own copy and…no matter what you read about it, there is no racism in it. It takes place after the War Between the States…I think the time period is the 1870’s or 1880’s. Beulah Bondi plays the Grandmother Kincaid to Bobby Driscoll’s playing her grandson whom she is raising and who wants to enter his rascally black lamb in the county fair…folk singer Burl Ives is also in it.

I LOVE Beulah!! ❤️

I love the character she played on The Walton's for that particular episode. It was so poignant! I first came to adore Beulah Bondi as Miss Oliver in the movie "Penny Serenade" with Cary Grant, Irene Dunn, and Edgar Buchanan. She seemed so gentle and kind and caring.

Thanks for getting to relive nice memorys. I used to watch the show with my mom back in the 1970's. Mom passed in 2010. If there are TV's in heaven I'll bet she & dad are still watching the Waltons. 🤘👻💖

I stayed at John & Olivia’s B&B this summer and toured the museum. The B&B was extraordinary, comfortable and great breakfast and the museum was very well done. Unfortunately the B&B and Hamner house are up for sale, so hopefully someone will buy them up and keep it going! So glad I got the opportunity to see it.

🦋🍃Thank you, for the memories, of a lovely TV Show! Before TV's Mass Exodus - because it became Spiritually Unsafe to Watch. Never knowing, when you'll be shocked by an inappropriate commercial or plotline agenda. Ekk! Haha! More time to research, and play follow the leader - with our Heavenly Parents 🤓

@@hillschannel8032 It is moonshine but, the Baldwin sisters called it the recipe. Maybe because it was a family show with kids watching it.

"The Still?!?!?" Did you say, "The Still"?!??! Why... that was our dear ol' Papa's recipe machine. Its a "cordial" for all occasions. And, my word, cousins came from near and far to sample it! Isn't that so, sister? - - God I loved Miss Mamie and Miss Emily.

I think a "reserve cast," is for insurance purposes because this was a popular TV show requiring an ensemble cast.
