I am a fairly new subscriber to your channel. You guys are awesome, and I look forward to your videos. I was diagnosed with lung cancer about two years ago, and because of that, I am on oxygen, but don't get me wrong; I am blessed and I am certainly not complaining. I mention my medical concerns only because it has caused me to resort to using a crock pot and an electric griddle quite often, both of which I can use without a concern,, as it pertains to safety with my use of oxygen in my home. I love cooking, (and eating) so your videos are not merely a form of entertainment to me, but have become quite a blessing to me as they allow me to simply enjoy my daily live as I continue with my fondness of cooking. Please know that you guys are appreciated on a level which may extend farther than you may have imagined. Thank you for your videos. Keep making them, and I will keep watching them. Bless you both; you have allowed me the ability to continue to enjoy my daily life....Vic

Awesome video!? Could you put a cast iron skillet on the Blackstone and fry them that way so you don't have to keep fussing with the oil?
@waltwins3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching! You could, but it may take too much work (and propane) to get the oil hot enough in the skillet to make it worth it. We’ve thought of using some aluminum tins - but want to make sure they are safe before we do it on a video. Take care!🤙🤙
@drwgisblaidd26503 жыл бұрын
I think I'd use cold rolled steel pans, just like the BS surface, or a wok, heats quickly, still needs seasoned, but just the same, as the griddle top, heats more evenly than cast iron, and a lot faster, so not a lot more propane, worth a try. Leveling the griddle would help with that oil issue as well.
