The post-dusting return has always intrigued me. So many questions. What if a husband got dusted and the wife didn't, then in those five years she remarries, then her former husband returns. As far as he is concerned they are still married. What about the houses, what if a whole family got dusted and their now empty house was sold by the state and occupied by a new family, then the original family returns, who's house is it? What about jobs? What about food? Society would have adapted to feed half as many people, now suddenly have to find food for 3+ billion extra mouths!

Cracked used to have this KZbin series where they would discuss how the hero of some movie was a dick or the villain had the right idea, etc. I remember watching End Game and immediately thinking Tony was being very selfish (but understandable). So, that his child could survive he caused chaos and heartbreak throughout the universe. Your list goes on and on. Trauma like: Missing five years of your baby's life; your spouse committing suicide because you were dusted; like Wanda, finding your house has been torn down; your baby drowning because you were in the process of giving him a bath when you were dusted; a dictator taking over your country because of the chaos; thousands of people suddenly appearing in a new war zone. You could come back and have no job, no home, no family and maybe your community or even your country not exist anymore. I hope we see more consequences of the snap in future MCU stories.

I was wondering the same thing. People popping up in dwellings they no longer own or rent. People coming back with no jobs. Imagine people in prison popping back into prison, when prisons likely spent time adjusting to half capacity but likely now back to full capacity. Me, personally, living by myself, I'd undust into my apartment that's no longer my apartment. Where are my belongings? Does my phone still work? Do I still have access to credit cards? Was my car repossessed?

Just to touch on it. I think Fat thor was super important. He gained weight through a lot of depression and sadness and he eventually found himself still worthy. I really loved that scene when he shouts "I'm still worthy" because it was confirmation that he isn't defined by either his appearance or his mental illness. The start of this episode was brilliant. It probably wasn't obvious unless, like me, you had the subtitles on, but the voices Monica could hear as she's un-blipping were sound-bites from "Captain Marvel", including Carol herself. We did actually see people un-blipping at the start of "Spider-Man Far From Home", but they did that quickly and for laughs. Here, we see the real trauma and chaos of everyone slowly coming back and quickly filling-up somewhere.

Darcy's character is so well written in this show, unlike in the Thor movies, it's all about the script, really, but yeah, I gotta give credit to Kat Dennings, she did a great job here, she was really fun to watch This was a very cool episode, a nice break from the sitcom crazyness, from this point on things started to change and it's funny while some people didn't like the old sitcom episodes they started getting more invested in the show after this episode, there were others that started losing interested once things got too "superhero movie", but, hey, that's the internet..

Endgame Thor, or Fat Thor, is awesome! I think Steven is overlooking what got Thor to that place. Thor, like Wanda, was grieving his losses. Thor at least had a group of friends to help him get through it. Well, friends, Fortnite, Pizza and lots, and lots of beer. Thor lost his mother, father, friends, hammer, eye and half his people movie after movie. The one thing that got who through all that trauma was the next fight, which was always around the corner. Then Thanos came, and he came, he saw and kicked everyone's ass and left. And we know from the beginning of Endgame that there was nothing they could do the moment they found him. With no fight to keep his mind of his losses, they all came to the forefront, forcing him to deal with his losses, and that's how we got Fat Thor, though I think Dude Thor is a better fit =P The Infinity Stone heist was the best thing to happen to him, as it gave him the closure he needed most and never had a chance to get, seeing his mother one last time. His mother Frigga was a witch, and while she knew that Endgame Thor wasn't her Thor, she treated him as though he were. She knew that time had not been kind to him, and likely knew that her absence was partly to blame; nevertheless, she stayed strong and told him what he needed to hear, so that he could heal and move on.

When Tony approaches him, he's rambling about how Tony was gone and Dr. Strange was there saying they needed to get ready and it was almost time to meet everyone else and he was so confused. But then Tony pulls him in for a hug and cuts him off and he just goes, "oh, this is nice."

I won't spoil anything but hang around the credits starting at episode 7. Rumor has it that during that decade thats when end credits scenes started. 60s,70s,80s,and early 90s, movies didn't have them.

I have such a deep forever love for this show. It aired soon after my parents both passed away and I decided to watch it when I heard it was supposed to be about the different stages of grief and what goes on inside the mind of someone mourning a loved one. Wanda lost everything and was constantly targeted for something she never asked for. Something she never wanted to begin with. All she ever wanted was the one thing the universe kept taking away from her. The one thing she gave everything up to have.... A family.

This episode explains the questions you had from the first 3 episodes... and then makes you realize you have a lot of bigger questions. I love how happy you were to have your ep. 1-3 questions answered and that feeling of starting to understand what's going on in this show. It keeps getting better. Also, love you guys paying attention to the timing relative to the unsnappening and how big of a deal that was. That'll come in handy. FYI, Monica Rambeau is the little girl from the Captain Marvel movie, grown up. Her mom was Maria, Carol's BFF.
