re: Elizabeth Olsen's interview, from what I can tell she never actually said anything about a Luke Skywalker moment. She was asked if there were any big surprises in store, "namely a casting that she can’t believe hasn’t leaked yet" and she said yes. That was probably referring to Quicksilver, I'd guess. Then TVLine took that and spun it, giving the article a title claiming something she'd never actually said to get clicks, and the internet and every other website out there ran with it, the way the internet does.

I don't think that all theories people had were disproved. Many people seem to be disappointed because they think so but they are just not proven YET. I mean this is the very first Phase 4 project, they would never reveal every intrigue, upcoming supervillian or multiverse implication in their first new project, people have to understand that. I love WandaVision, definitely one of my absolute favourite Marvel projects. Lizzy, Paul and everyone involved just did a great job. The only bad thing was the Ralph Bohner part, but I'm still 99% sure that that IS Fox-Qucksilver (I mean Kevin Feige would never purposely disappoint so many fans). They're just taking their time with the reveal, which I am completely okay with. I just love Wanda as a charakter as well as Lizzy as an actress! I'm in love with her 😭😍😍😂

It really is a fantastic show. That's why I say it's really our fault for those of us that were reading into theories and coming up with our own ideas and feeling disappointed that it didn't turn out the way we thought it would. Overall, the show told the story it set out to tell while sprinkling in a few surprises here and there and it was great!!! But there is a little voice in my head telling me that Marvel was doing some purposeful trolling of their own, lol.

I really enjoyed the slow episodes, they were some of my favorite moments. It really built up the world Wanda built and increased the intrigue for what’s actually happening. Unfortunately it didn’t fully live up to what it built (and hyped) up but it was still a really good watch.

Quicksilver: If he had actually been the FoX-Verse Quicksilver, that would have been bigger than Luke Skywalker I think, because it's not even the same universe that he lives in. Ralph Bohner is not at all Luke Skywalker, and is just a disappointment tbh. White Vision: Not a Luke Skywalker moment, but he was still pretty cool. The Vision vs White Vision fight was really cool!

I make it a point to avoid theorizing and go into spoiler aversion territory when I hear it for shows like this. Mostly because I've seen enough people get invested in seeing an outcome they predict and then get mad at the show for not paying off. I don't need that kinda stress and I don't want to be mad a great show because it didn't do what I thought it would. I understand a lot of people like doing that and more power to them. It's just not my way. I thought this show was great! The pitch meeting was also hilarious. I watched through a second time with my wife and really enjoyed the first two episodes in retrospect. And I still tear up thinking of "What is grief, if not love persevering?"

I watched it all last night. It's better as a binge. I like Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie, but the first few episodes were slow. Gotta say it was hard to do it without random social media posts trying to spoil it for me. Now Wanda is extremely powerful so I'm curious to see how they plan to write for her now. It's not as unique as you think it is...And it doesn't have replay value after showing its horror twist. And it's arguably not a game even by visual novel - the genre of DDLC - standards, given how few and how meaningless its choices are. You should play more games. It can be tough finding actually good visual novels though because that space is littered with butchered translations and fetish stuff. Clannad's considered a solid one though. The Ace Attorney and Danganronpa series' are neither 100% VNs but both generally popular for good reason.

We are at fault for crazy Mephisto theories, that Evans Peter story was on the showrunners. They knew the reaction they would provoke and its just "subverting your expectations" as a main drive for a plotpoint all along. Which did not work in Iron Man 3, it did not work in Game of Thrones and it certainly did not work in the new Star Wars trilogy.

Actually I had the same reaction to Evan Peters showing up like I had for Luke Skywalker showing up. For some of us it was a very big moment because two huge franchises were colliding....and it didn't pay off and he was just a guy named ralph bohner. When a movie adds so many elements in one movie that starts stories for future movies. It doesn't focus on the central story of the movie you're watching. That was my biggest issue with Age of Ultron.

To be fair, “a Luke Skywalker” moment is kinda ambiguous. It took me a while to understand what that referenced. I doubt Olsen understood anything other than a surprising moment.

I think the only theory this series should have sparked is whith which Super Hero name Monica Rambeau was going to debut. After all Carol Danvers has already stolen the name Captain Marvel. Also how do they manage to make her very interesting power set boring, it can't be as interesting as in the comics, since that would require some work.

Her very interesting power set like...Flight (most Marvel heroes), speed (several), energy blasts (Iron Man, Thor...), invisibility (Fantastic Four chick), absorption (Loki...), size-changing (Ant-Man)...Yes, all very interesting. I was kind of disappointed by the finale. I think it was because by the end everything involving scarlet witch was the last thing I cared about. I cared far more about how there is a white vision out there now, how it wasn't x men quicksilver (or even the fact that it was just a random unimportant guy), and how mephisto didnt show up (and thus ghost rider didnt show up. I was hoping Johnny Blaze ghost rider could be introduced to help them defeat mephisto, the one who made the ghost rider by trapping the spirit of vengeance.) But there is still a chance mephisto could come later (and thus ghost rider) if wanda's kids to come back and they do some story where mephisto took their souls and brought them back to abuse wanda. But then again, none of that stuff was a guarantee. I guess I just saw the potential and expected it to live up to it because it is marvel

Right, a lot of the theories seemed very possible and doable for Marvel in the show. Once it got to episode 5, I knew a lot of the theories that were out there were not going to happen. There's a lot that they were going to have to explain to make a number of the theories work. However, I didn't expect it to be Agatha just trying to figure out Wanda's power, I thought it would be something bigger and more complex than that.
