my grand father was born at 913 Walnut St. The house is still there. Built 1896 and he was born 1897. The family owned a cherry farm on Traverse Bay. Thanks for the tour.

Sorry, no making fun just busting your cojones😜 it just made me laugh .You mentioned you wear your 501s but not the poncho.Just tree it on, And there it was again. lol I have one they're nice. they keep you warm without being bulky. To me they remind me of a surfer more than a hippie. Spicoli lol . I had to replace all 4 tires plus the spare on my van. yikes. when I looked at it to buy the tread seamed good. Did not know till you mentioned about the date. that the tread can be deceiving.😣 they were seven years old and had sat. Expensive but valuable lesson.

It is a beautiful area - glad you enjoyed. I went to Mackinac a bunch of years ago (pre YT lol) It is a GREAT place - I highly recommend it, never known anyone to not enjoy a trip there. I remember going up to the bar at the top of the Grand Hotel and enjoying a drink and great views and just wandering around the island. Thanks for stirring a memory! all the best

have you been to Leggs in?. I take lake shore drive out of Harbor springs through the tunnel of trees. I have a great memory of stopping on the dune drive and walking to the lake, so relaxing and peaceful.

I have not been there. I remember going to Dill's (even wore my Dill's shirt where there) but sadly that place was closed down and turned into something that everyone says is no where near as good. :( If I get there at the right time of year I will check out Leggs Inn. I have done the drive from Petosky thru the tunnel of trees - STUNNING !! Done sleeping bear dunes many many times.. my first YT video is climbing the dune back up from the lake. Now that I think I probably have 3 or 4 Sleeping Bear Dunes videos.. lol all the best

thanks. I know this may sound weird (and also not trying to sound rude at all) when viewing you can change the speed. Timelapse like this can be changed to a speed viewers like better. I am glad you still enjoyed the video. :)

Those little houses along the lake would be awesome in the summer but don't they risk those ice flows (I think that is what they are called) in the winter? The thing I remember most about Traverse City is the large number of HUGE houses around the lake. I hope KiKie (I am sorry I never learned to spell her name.) did okay while you were gone.

It is funny you mention that - we were talking about it too. Our basic conclusion was if that was a problem the houses would have been crushed by now. lol Guess they figure out how close the house can safely be. :) Yes Traverse City and Potesky have a BUNCH of huge homes along the lake. Spelling doesn't matter lol (but it's Keiki - but honest don't worry) I think she ate a little but chowed down good when I got back.. Vinny - pretty sure he ate. lmao
