After accidentally missing the SCUBA trip I had planned, I decided to make the most of my day in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and head out to the Old City, Al-Balad, to explore a bit on my own. It was amazing to wander the streets of the city as a solo tourist and discover things as I went. I met some interesting folks and was the only tourist in sight!

Hi doug 👋 The mosque that you went is Al-Shafi’i Mosque. It is old and was built approximately 1400 years ago. It is one of the historical mosques in Old Jeddah and has been rebuilt in recent years. I Hope that tour was great 👌
