Definitely right about the number of small trout this year. Caught a ton of small trout and white trout in Fourchon last weekend. Hopefully with the upcoming cold front the bigger fish will move in.

Great video! Here in Florida Atlantic side, trout harvesting is not allowed until next year (1 Jan 2025). Catch and release for now. Red drum is catch and release only until further notice. I am all about conservation and expect fellow anglers to follow suit. Keep those videos coming.

Totally depends on how good it looks to me. If clarity is good, tide is moving, there's bait and good depth-changes, I'm going to stick with it a while before pulling the plug.
