Thank for the Denali video. It helped give me a better idea for planning our summer trip and how we want to see Denali (car, bus, etc.)

Thank you for sharing all your adventures, so nice to also get an interview like this one. Learning so much even though I’m not going to Alaska any time soon 😅 Merry Christmas 🎄

The shuttle bus is part of our itinerary but glad for the information about hiking and trails. The kennel dogs were not in our plans, but this may be a place for us to add it.

Great video! Learned about the newly opened Tsenesdghass Na' Trailhead and hope to check it out in the summer 2025. I also learned about the free app from NPS which I'm sure will come in handy too! Thank you!

If you can believe it, I just had a dream about the Tsenesdghass Na' area the other night; I really hope to check it out this summer too!

Thanks for creating this amazing content. I have a question about the entrance pass. If we have a lifetime pass, do we still need to obtain an entrance pass at the visitor center? TY!
@valerievalise11 күн бұрын
Great question - you do not - you'll just show your lifetime pass at the Visitor Center and keep it with you in your vehicle, and you'll be all set!!

very informative. question, how does one stay in the park multi day or do you need to go in and out each day and therefore book multiple bus tours? It is hard to get a sense of the bus trip duration and how much time is available for walking before needing to get onto a bus to leave the park again. Thanks for so much info

If you want to go beyond Mile 15, yes you'll need to book multiple bus tours! As for riding in, hopping off, and then catching a bus back out, I wouldn't wait for the last bus - it can be full and if it's full, you may have to wait hours for an additional bus to be sent out. It's better to plan to catch a bus out 1-2 hours before the end of the day!

I would rather throw my backpack and be part of the group conditioning the bear to expect food to be thrown at them, than the group conditioning the bear to expect humans to lay down and prepare to be eaten.

Thanks for watching. Please ensure you review the NPS guidelines for safe wildlife viewing before you visit; engaging with wildlife can result in fines - and honestly, your backpack isn't going to do anything to deter a Grizzly, so just don't get too close in the first place.
