The Camry and rav4 are Toyotas bread and butter they can't afford to mess it up. The only thing I disagree with you on is the transmission in the hybrid models isn't a CVT the electric motors in the hybrid system simulate a CVT.

This is true. Should have provided that distinction between the "e-CVT" in the Toyota hybrid models and my CVT explanation in the drive portion. Good call 👍🏻

Thank you! It's pretty close with a more satisfying ride. The Lexus might have better materials, but the proactive driving assist and better hybrid efficiency mean we'd take the Camry. Thanks for watching!

I guess the Civic didn't quite kill off all other sedans in 2022. We did get one for the Mrs shortly after watching you review. & Others. Sport touring . Your assessment of that car was spot on. We got the new camry for me a few months ago. SE though. I don't rate quite as high. Actually I don't need the luxury and everything else. So far so good. Thanks y'all.
