@Paul English: a couple of things, I don’t want to get into the whole ‘B’ word debate, but I am English and have and will always consider myself European. The two ‘British’ automotive iconic brands that make the biggest use of the Union Jack logo to boost patriotic sales are Triumph and Mini. Both command rather extreme brand loyalty, which is nice. But since 2014 Triumph Bonnevilles have been manufactured in Thailand by Triumph, while the Mini is built Oxford by BMW. Both claim to be British but which is which? Surely you can’t have it both ways?

Cassidy knows where it's at. The Triumph is just a nice classic clean looking street bike. I've been the HD route in the past, but I'm all about comfort and reliability now. I can hop on any of my 1970's Honda's and know I'll get to my destination, enjoy the ride and get home without incident. BUT...I did love my Harley's in the day. I did as much wrenching on them as riding them, but that's the nature of the beast. Cheers! Zip~

Harley floorboards and rear brake pedal height has always been a issue for me as well. I have to keep the pedal high enough that my boot fits under it. Otherwise I don’t have enough room on the board. For the same reason, I can’t us their dual shifters... my size 13 frankenfoot doesn’t fit between em.

I dont know if you did it off camera or said the wrong thing, but what you adjusted on the carb wasnt the metering rod as far as i know. It was what they call the power jet i think.

All the 1960's Triumphs were the chick magnets of all time. The seat was a metal frame with springs stretched from right to left with a thin foam pad over them. At 50 to 60 MPH the back half vibrated at just the right frequency if you get what I mean. I'm sure it was deliberate. You couldn't get them off because they were getting off.

Also check for intake vacuum leaks 90% of the time it's the gasket on the cylinder head they dry rot and start sucking air in best way to check is start the engine , get a propane soldering torch turn the torch on lol but don't light it then proceeded putting the torch tip in the sealing surfaces and intake connections if you hear an increase in engine rpm you found your leak also love the videos keep them rolling !!
