Hey Steve - It is great to hear your journey with weight lifting. I have been following your weight lifting advice for a year now. I have been pretty consistent but have periods where I’m not motivated. It’s good to hear you went through that too. I have progressive ms and was expecting to be in a wheelchair this year. With your 5 Essentials, I have stopped the progression and I hope over the years will gain back some of my lost mobility. You have been a great inspiration for my recovery journey. Thanks for this video!

I wish exercise worked for me. Whenever I try to strengthen my muscles through exercise I always end up losing more sensation, which sometimes even makes standing up or turning over in bed difficult. It's really upsetting. I've had limited sensation in parts of my body for years now. Whenever I try to do exercises to improve my strength I ALWAYS end up worse off which is really frustrating. The more I try to improve things for myself the worse I get. We're all different. I'm so happy this works for you. I wish it worked for me too ☹️

Exercise causes inflammation. Not mild easy and light exercise, but moderate to strenuous does. I have to be carfeful with exsercise - my 2 worst relaspes happened right after training sessions with a trainer who gave me a program that was too intense. And that was when I had no disability.

@@ldjt6184@ldjt6184 are you good now? I have started weight lifting last month. Any Tips? And Ellie, why don't you try breathing exercises? Like alternate nostril breathing or Anulom Vilom ? Not for some minutes but for 1 to 2 hours atleast daily. This helps a lot believe me.

The whole question is not how to restore myelin, but how to remove the connective tissue (plaque) in the place where the myelin used to be. Whenever I read that scientists have learned to restore myelin, I understand that this is a scam for the dull. They don't understand what MS is. And why can’t myelin be restored where the plaque was.

Hi Steve thank you so much for making these inspiring and motivating videos you are amazing. You bring so much hope and determination. I have nerve damage in my auditory and vestibular system after a bad case of covid a year ago. Do you think light therapy my help? I also lift weights and are looking to try lions mane. Thank you again

That's hard for me to say. You know I'm not a doctor and know nothing about those systems. But if your condition stems from inflammation, then yes, absolutely. UVB is very effective against inflammation, particularly in the CNS.

Energy nutrients for mitochondria + phospholipids + BDNF and other growth factor promoters + removing root causes of inflammation (biotoxins, chronic infections, calming down the CDR, heavy metals). 🎉

Symptoms of heavy metal poisoning can be life threatening and they can cause irreversible damage.
@albineg Жыл бұрын
Yes they can be. But they can also be chronic and some or all of the damage repaired with the the right interventions. @@SteveSolvesMS

Hi Steve. Have you regained sensation and motor function? I have lost some motor function in my left hand and am trying to repair myelin and nerves. Other than working out, what would you recommend?

How is myelin degraded in your understanding of MS?
@SteveSolvesMS Жыл бұрын
The immune system (specifically autoreactive B and T cells) crosses the blood-brain barrier. Once inside the central nervous system, they create an inflammatory environment and target myelin.
@darkfieldcarnivore3928 Жыл бұрын
@SteveSolvesMS Fantastic. I'm not familiar with your journey. Have you tried deep ketosis for its anti-inflammatory properties, immune reset, and tissue rebuilding properties? I'm talking strict carnivore.
