Some older stuff I still use are a spinnerbait, buzzbait, and tube jigs. They work in my river. I try the new stuff also though. I try to be proficient in all techniques. I'll try anything to see if it works. Sometimes just them seeing something different can trigger a bite. I even try to order different color soft plastics that aren't in my local shops in hope its something they dont see every day! Whatever can give you an edge on the water is always helpful! 😂
