I'm learning English by myself, I don't have a teacher or a friend to help me on my way. But after 3 years of learning I can say that my English has improved and today I am able to read, listen and write in English. Yes, I make mistakes, I'm just a human being and who doesn't make mistakes? I have been subscribed to this channel since 2017. I was learning English and struggling a lot. I was neither confident nor insecure. In November 2018, I started my studies in Foreign Language Teaching (English and French) and took many English courses, failed exams and feeling ashamed for years. People made fun of my insecurity when it came to handling English and it did not help me gain confidence in myself. This channel has always encouraged me for years, Christian is an amazing teacher and content creator for learners of different levels. Behind my achievements, I have many failures but now I can say that I got my degree with distinction last year, I am a Spanish assistant in France for 7 months and I am proud to say that I am an ESL/FLE Teacher. It's a bad feeling when I make a mistake, specifically when I'm speaking. As far as other skills is concerned, I don't care so much, but when I'm speaking I'm afraid to make mistakes and I think It's because I'm shy! Once at the party I was drunk enough to begin speaking with a pretty girl from not english speaking country too freely, trying to understand each other. And our friends were impressed a lot. I use to have warts when I was a child, I was 11 years old, (Now I am a Doctor, emergency Doctor) and I went with a Doctor who prescribe me medicatcion and burn my hands two times without results, and then an other doctor told me: TAKE THIS PILS AND BEFORE 3 DAYS THE WARTS WILL DISAPEAR, I believed so hard an the warts desapear after 3 days. I really loved this video!!! I´m from Colombia (Avianca is our national Airline), and it was a terrible surprise and so sad for me knowing the history behind that flight. Ho 25 anni e da più di 7 anni che studio inglese MINIMO 3/4 ore a settimana. Escluso quello scolastico. É da più di 7 anni che leggo libri in inglese, scrivo quaderni di parole che non so, guardo film/ serie TV/ video KZbin/ cartoni animati in inglese quasi tutti i giorni, studio la grammatica, faccio conversazione e prendo lezioni una volta a settimana. Fatica, impegno, tempo, pazienza e soldi. A cosa mi ha portato tutto questo? A quasi NIENTE, a passare da un b1 a un b1.2 . Studiare inglese mi ha portato solo sofferenza. Oggi mi arrendo. Non è la prima volta che penso di arrendermi ma questa sarà la volta buona. Quindi continuate a studiarlo se volete ma sappiate che se ci riuscite non siete stati più bravi di chi ha mollato, siete solo stati più fortunati perché siete più intelligenti. E non tutti possono farlo. Se non nasci intelligente non hai le stesse opportunità degli altri questa è una realtà, che poi tutti nascondono perché abbiamo il tabù della stupidità però è così.
