Semper Fi, I’m from central Texas, and we are praying for y’all. I’ve seen a lot of the destruction over there in Asheville, and I just pray for everyone over. Try to keep your head up and press forward. I know there are more men and women like you that are out there doing what needs to be done. 🇺🇸

Hello Tom from the Old Jarhead in devastated western north carolina. I was able to get cell from my onstar. No power no water, no cell, house is ok, but may trees down but they all fell away from the house. We live in Asheville area so you probably know what's going on. Keep us in your prayers. Many lost lives & some towns washed away. God bless brother & Semper Fi

I've seen you guys do projects w minimal prep to omg prep. This one was not too bad. I have learned that what is under the concrete is just as important, if not more important than the concrete itself. One example of that was the exposed aggregate walks. All the prep was complete that morning. You ordered the trucks, and the pour began. Just one tiny, invisible thing was not right. The base stone was frozen. The next day, the edges of the walks had cracked. All of it had to be demolished and redone. I don't think I would have thought to put stone over the drain pipe to help funnel out any water elsewhere under the patio. Sort of a French drain. Very cool. Knowledge is power. When you have the knowledge, you have the power to create structures that will endure the elements and last much longer. Then, w the pour, you make sure it has the 2 or 3% fall so there's never any puddled water. Little things have big consequences. You see, I've been paying attention. I've learned a lot on this channel! Nice video, thanks!!👍❤️🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲

For Christmas last year my wife bought me the Dewalt grease gun because I already have Dewalt tools. What a difference it is now greasing my tractor! Before pulling the handle I don't think I was getting grease all the way through.

I WAS TAUGHT A GOOD TIP ABOUT SLEEVES THAT IS HANDY FOR THE OWNER TO LOCATE SLEEVES AT A LATER DATE. NAIL A SHORT PEICE OF CHAMPFER STRIP ON THE EGDE FORM ABOVE THE SLEEVE WHICH WILL LEAVE A VEE GROOVE IN THE EDGE OF THE CONCRETE WHEN IT IS STRIPPED.

Hey Tom, thanks for the entertainment! I did want to call your attention to the video at 6:20 and 8:20 minutes in. The part about the downspout burial repeats itself. Don't know if that was by design, or just an editing oversight? Either way, good work, and anxious to watch the pour and stamping of this project in your next production . . .

Tom, you need to check out the new 301.7. We have 3 of the ones like you have and just bought a new one. They are so much better of a machine! More stable, joystick steer, there a touch bigger, more power and they got rid of what we always call the violater. The levers that always go up your butt as you get on and off.

Does burying drainpipes, conduit, and replanting trees, and shrubs add to the concrete price quoted or do you just fix what needs to be done since you have the equipment already there? You guys sure do nice professional looking work.

The man said, "If you trip on them, they won't go all the through you" Thats why we use rebar caps. OSHA is hell on those things in D.C. Area.
@davidp4350Ай бұрын
If you use rebar caps , when the rebar gets pulled out you will be left with a cap inside you that will cause infection ! Much better to avoid OSHA rules if at all possible, but that is true of anything government says on any subject.
