Do you want to quit your job? Then consider the following signs you need to leave your job and find another. You may say that you're not a quitter… but when it comes to work, sometimes you need to be! Whether a better opportunity comes along, or you simply outgrow your current job. But how do you know when to quit your job and move on?
It often takes us years, sometimes even decades, before we realize what we were truly meant to do. Sometimes, it’s not about company stability or your professional goals that make you want to quit your job. Rather, it’s because of an innate feeling that where you are is not where you’re meant to be. This feeling is hard to ignore, and you shouldn’t. Your gut feeling is probably one of the most important signs you need to leave your job - and you should probably listen.
We often think of quitting a job as a negative thing, but that’s not necessary true. In fact, at times it can be quite liberating. When a job has nothing left to offer you, the best thing to do is to find a position that does. However, if you do decide that you want to quit your job, be smart about it. Your resignation should be strategic and more importantly, properly timed.

I called my manager out on “checking the hotel” on Thanksgiving. I asked her if she had any family and why she would be checking the hotel on Thanksgiving when she took the day off. She never responded back to me. My boyfriend says I was too harsh. 🤷‍♀️ is it not creepy to “check in” to see if the hotel is running properly on Thanksgiving? That’s creepy to me when ya take the day off. Plus she was never happy she’d walk around like she was dead inside. I told her she needs Jesus. I just feel sorry for her at this point. The customers don’t even like her.

When you start drinking everyday to deal with the stress at work. It's time to go. When you start having anxiety attacks every day. It's time to go. When you start taking antidepressants just to help cope with your toxic job. It's time to go. Your blood pressure is constantly high. It's time to go. I been putting a lot of thought into quitting my job. After watching this video, I'm now motivated to do so. Here's my reasons for wanting to quit 1. Unhealthy work/life balance 2. Some of the payments are not enough. 3. I'm the most overlooked employee. 4. I often feel underappreciated by managers and some coworkers. 5. I feel like a slave. 6. No room for advancements. 7. I feel like I'm in a brainwashing cult. 8. The job is not what I believed it to be. 9. No interest in the work I'm doing. 10. Too challenging at times. 11. That has nothing to do with a full time job and everything to do with job stress, lack of decent sleep, consistany work load, emotional and verbal abuse from Co workers and boss, being excluded from group settings. Being over worked and not being able to spend time with your loved ones, especially kids. Whenever I get a day off all I do is sleep and I feel bad that my 8 year old daughter is in her room entertaining herself, because I'm beat, we work sometimes 40 to 50 hrs in a 5 day work week, sometimes we work 6 days or even 7 days a week and for 3 weeks straight .Im fine with over time, but I would rather work 6 days and work 8 hrs a day is. working 10 or 11 hrs in one day.

I just quit my job today! First months of my job was running well. I don't feel any pressure or stress and it feels like I'll last longer. But, I was wrong, when my guts told me to quit I did not listen until months pass by, I don't feel happy anymore, everything is stressful, my boss keeps yelling at us almost everyday, my anxiety got worst, daily breakdowns after shift and even day offs. I thought I was just being weak and over reacting until one day I finally realized that it's not healthy anymore. The job just helped me financially but not my personal growth. But this job taught me a lot of things, such as, chosing the right job next time that I would love no matter what the difficulties. Don't forget to look back cuz our previous job will help help us what we want to become.

This is basically my story right now. The first 4 months were good till an incident with a co-worker was flat out rude to me even tho there were signs 2 months back but I didn’t think much of it then she would continue to be rude till another 4 months she was nice all of the sudden but she was also rude to another co worker of mine and I guess he went to HR and told on her anyways even tho all of that the job was fine for the first 8 months then in November it all started changing where my boss was very rude to me and others then they cut my hours down and my co workers and she just upped and quit on her lunch break lol but right now I am fine my boss is back to being nice but now that same co worker is kinda being a b*tch again and I just dealt with another co worker being rude to me

This was a clue that I should have taken seriously a year ago. I work in a retail/ production company, I work in production. I noticed on their online applications that they were hiring people to do my exact job at a higher rate than me. Despite me being there several years and being much faster and efficient than the newbies being hired. When I had a meeting about it with my boss, I assumed they would say it was an honest overlooked mistake in pay and immediately raise me to what the new hires were making. Nope, they came up with some bs response and said to qualify for that raise I needed to prove myself on the retail side of the business despite these new hires never having to do that work. They only did what I did and got paid more than me, despite being new and slow. But I went along with that nonsense bs excuse and tortured myself learning the retail in order to "qualify". Ever since, new hires are not being forced into that. It was ONLY ME. I'm convinced it was some sort of sadistic punishment for me to dare point out this inequality, and them not wanting To admit a mistake. It's only got worse for me. I'm in clinical burnout mode. I cant take being overworked, unappreciated, and other employees getting bonuses over me. It's time for me to leave but my nerves are fried, and I'm so terrified that another job I go to will be worse. I'm scared to move and am on the verge of a nervous breakdown as I keep crying randomly though out the days.

5 reasons I want to quit my job: 1. 1 hrs 30 minutes train commute everyday. 2. It feels as if whatever work is too slow for them. They want instant outputs and badmouth behind my back that I'm not productive enough. 3. I don't love my job. I love cooking and know a great deal of Video editing. I work on weekends on KZbin and I enjoy doing that. Cooking is my passion. 4. I feel very stressed in office. It is affecting my health and personal relationships. 5. I am quite innocent and I get stuck in office politics every now and then. I don't know how to create a fake rapport between me and my manager. So my manager doesn't likes me.

I worked in property management for 2 years. I left my job because I have to have surgery. HR told me that the property I worked at didn't support medical leave and I had been the only maintenance technician for the property for a year serving as a porter, maintenance tec, maintenance supervisor and a pool guy. 120 unit section 8 and his housing. The week before I was scheduled to have surgery the property had a state inspection and higher management was being a pain and my manager was making my job even harder than what it was. I finally had enough walked into the office to take lunch and just took off my keys and badges in front of the manager and walked out. Haven't been back since. Got another job that appreciates the knowledge and work I offer them. I was experience everyone of these signs.

johnny saenz I think the common wisdom of “have a new one lined up before leaving” is both good & bad advice. Not having one lined up can be an excuse to stay in a comfortable, toxic place. Having a job can be an excuse not to look for a new one. Depends on job market & one’s desirability in the marketplace. Quit a job at the only employer in a town with high unemployment? Maybe not. Quit a job in a city with many options in a great economy? Less risk.

When you have been overworked for a long time and lose interest in the work. I’m so bored and even with major deadlines cannot bring myself to care until the very last moment

i’ve had my job for almost two years and i loved it at first. for the first year or so i was so ecstatic to go to work and i had a great time there. now i just cannot muster up any enthusiasm when i am scheduled. it’s so monotonous and mentally draining. the only reason i haven’t quit is because i love my coworkers. but they shouldn’t hold me back from something greater than what i am doing now. i also have debilitating anxiety about disappointing people so no matter how hard i try i just can’t go up to my boss and quit.

Unappreciated by employer who wrongly accuse you. The favoritism of bad employees who are giving you the most trouble seems to get away with shit all the time.

When you're watching this because you've been applying for weeks to no avail. When you hate your job but cant quit because you have responsibilities but the job market is shit near you. When you keep refreshing your email. Calling to follow up. And opening your voicemail over and over. When you dread every waking second of your job and the universe is against you😖
