Gosh she looks like a sim, just too perfect skin, hair, clothes, room. I have never seen anyone this perfect

Her filters are getting heavier. Look at her older videos, you can see texture and lines. It’s sad that women feel the need to blur themselves out to be “presentable” to the world
@andreitawheel5 жыл бұрын
@@liliax9147 I've been watching Amy for a while, I don't think she is hiding anything, what's wrong with making something aesthetically pleasing content to watch and learn from it? She makes quality content, and she does all her recording, lighting, editing, makeup, clothes, so many things go into just these minutes of us here on youtube. This is one of her businesses, and she does it well, we are all smart and know that makeup and lighting does wonders, that's all, we all have wrinkles, and sun spots, and whatever. I don't think she feels the need to blur herself, she is just that good at delivering a message and looking great while doing her YT videos.

@@andreitawheel Touché. I, too, have watched Amy for a long time (since 2013, actually) and have watched how hard she has worked on her way to success. Amy, your hustle and transparency from the very beginning are admirable. I've loved watching you and your businesses grow for the past six years. I've laughed with you as you put yourself out there, marching to the beat of your own drum (Mariah Carey Christmas Parody for Gary V was brilliant), I've celebrated with you as you shared your journey to marriage with your husband, and I've cried with you as you mourned the loss of your brother. You've "grown into" a lovely entrepreneur we can all learn from. The reason your videos (personal appearance, background, lighting, audio & video quality, etc.) are so beautiful is because you've learned what it takes to produce professional, high quality content through dedication and hard work, all the while sharing with us how to achieve that success. And with no filters. Thank you for what you're doing. Keep on keepin' on....
@liliax91475 жыл бұрын
I have been watching her for a long time too. I like her older content better. But, her changing look is entirely separate from wether or not her content is good, so I don’t know why you bring that up. All I said was that it’s sad that women feel they have to edit themselves to look presentable. And if you think there’s no filters you should look again. She looks totally different here vs photos.

Ah, I am so torn. On the one hand, you make a good point about exhaustively learning something and never doing something with it. On the other hand, I LOVE learning. For me, it is as much about the process as the destination. When I'm really into something, I love reading and learning everything possible about that subject. I'm also fairly risk adverse, so take that for what you will.

I might be able to help on that: To compartmentalize my thoughts because of a racing brain... I write down the ideas or thoughts into a special notebook and pick a fresh one every time you need to. I found a really comforting message in a book I'm reading at the moment, that immediately and radically changed my view on life when it comes to decision making. It is called the "No lose model". There is nothing like the "wrong" or "right" decision, just different ones. Path A and Path B; both of which are right as both offer opportunities to experience life in a new way, to learn and grow, to find out who you are and who you would like to be. You will gain experience either way. Taking this perspective that there is plenty to gain and nothing to lose increased my courage to take decisions and act on them tenfold! It all comes down on how you want to frame situations in your life and how you want to experience situations in life. Mind over matter!

I took an “information break” and stayed off KZbin and Podcasts for awhile, caught up on reading for entertainment, then just picked something I had been thinking about for almost a year and finally started that podcast: Storyteller Station! I’m figuring it out as I go, but all the info gurus I follow (you, Pat Flynn, Joanna Penn to name a few) encouraged me to get started. So, thank you for that. I found that since I just jumped in and started doing what I’m excited about it has helped to clarify some things for me and my platform as an indie author. And here’s a tweetable if I say so myself (lol): After spending too long in analysis-paralysis and information overload, I have learned to balance the intake with the output!
