Thank you for sharing! I would love to take my horses camping some day. It seems like such a big ordeal but you break it down in a way that makes it seem manageable!

You can definitely do it without all these supplies; these just make it easier doing it long term!

@@CarmellaAbel can we teach horse to play soccer? :o

That highline is dangerous, because a horse can hurt himself when he's afraid and is going to run. But all other things are really necesary. Maybe you can also have psilium for sand colic and colosan for normal colic, and flyspray of course.😍

I love horse camping. I love using one of my horses as a pack horse. It is so awesome and I love your videos. Keep up the great work. God bless you.

Thank you! My goal is to get Ruach carrying some saddle bags for us 😂. God bless you too!

@@CarmellaAbel they have something really cool called a saddle painer specifically for a pack Horse set up that goes over a saddle. I think they’re pretty cool as opposed to just a pack saddle because then you always have an extra saddle in case Colin needs to ride one of the horses. 🤠

Hubby and I are curious if you've described your state travels...your itinerary. Will you be heading towards arizona?? Your KZbin channel is amazing. I've got an awe inspiring God led story towards your channel. It's quite amazing 🤩 Learning groundwork, Liberty training and now...like you guys..... full time rv-ing. So weird!!! So God !!!!!!!! ❤️

I've only seen high lines used with a stationery lead in the center. Not moving like a dog line. So maybe you've done it incorrectly? I don't know. I thought they would be like you have it, but in real life at camps I haven't seen anyone do it that way. I also bring my big barrel slow feeder. It's huge but it keeps my horse calm and less messy so I make room for it.

I have seen others do it to where is moves; I think it is a preference of the user. I like when they can move around a bit more!

How do your horses adopt to grass and weather differences in different places
@CarmellaAbel23 күн бұрын
They aren’t really on grass much, but when they are I just try to start them dlow. They always get the same fees of alfalfa, beet pulp, and some grain. Hay supply changes whenever I have to get hay. But they have handled everything pretty well!

This really helped me out Carmella! You are the best and you are awesome, you are my favourite KZbinr!! I love you all so much! I will follow your beautiful and a wonderful journey!! My cow is now getting better! Cow named Lakshmi gave birth to a beautiful baby boy calf!! Cows which gave birth will lose their calves so they will moo so much until they find it!! Happy and a wonderful journey, be happy, be safe and all the best!! BTW do you feed alfalfa or just give them hay?? And should I high line every day??
@CarmellaAbel23 күн бұрын
Glad to hear that your cows are doing better! I feed a mix of alfalfa pellets, beat pulp, and grass hay to give them a varied diet. I wouldn’t keep my horse on a high-line every day, just because it’s like being in a stall, they have a limited space in which they can move. I like my horses to have turnout if possible!

Okay, young lady. You know I never critique or criticize you. Can I make a tiny observation though? My motive being that I want your channel to do well & you to thrive. You said a certain phrase repetitively-"I highly recommend." You have not done that before, at least, I never noticed it before. Now, for all the words of affirmation & hoping to be an encouragement. I appreciate your tips for horse ownership & training, & now trailriding & camping tips. The braiding your cell # into horses's mane is used here in Florida just before a hurricane or during tropical storm warning, so good tip for horse identification. It has been tried & proven useful here. That cat that is sleeping on your steps knows a sweet animal lover when he sees one & he figured he would hang been his home away from home. I also repurpose empty feed bags for trash or storage for heavy items that would break a trash bag. Of course I clean them out before using them. I have seen some girls at church use the feed bags to make a shopping bag. They use the front part of bag with a picture of a horse on it. I bet youtube or pinterest offers instructions on how to make them. They could be used for campground shower bag, first aid grab on-the -go bag, etc. Just throwing out ideas for you & your followers. Safe travels you two, and enjoy those memory making moments. They'll make for good conversation in your latter years, should the Lord tary that long.
