The Knusperflocken were a bit tricky because they weren't available in western Germany in his childhood, since they're originally from the GDR. Even after the the reunion of both German parts, it took some time until it was available in western Germany.

I see an advantage on each side, here. On _Stephan's_ side, his advantage is that, having lived in Germany longer, he is more familiar with all the snacks there are to be found. On _Dana's_ side, on the other hand, her advantage is that the average woman has a sense of smell that is about twice as strong as the average man's.
@ncburton17137 жыл бұрын
lazyperfectionist1 good point! I was thing of part of that but hadn't thought of the while thing until you pointed it out. Good observation. :)

I grew up in the '80's and '90's. We had a show on PBS called _321 Contact_ which was all about science. They also published a magazine to which I subscribed. I read this there. It makes sense, though. Women are always preoccupied with smell because they can actually _perceive_ it better than we can. With men, it's like, "I'll take a shower and put on deodorant, then I'll go back to what I was doing." With women on the other hand, it's more like, "This perfume smells pretty good, but this one smells _so much better._ Here. Smell it."

Hi! Once I saw thw Koala snack I got excited because I know that snack very well. A Korean - Japanese company called Lotte makes it. It is called "Koala's March." (That is the name in English and I also believe it is the Japanese name as well. I think in some places it is called Koala Yummies). If you Goggle it, you'll see that the box is the same and it has the same Koala character. You can find these and similar snacks throughout East Asia. There is a snack like this readily available in a lot of American supermarkets in the Asian foods section called "Hello Panda" by another Japanese company named Meiji. However, I like Koala March a little better since they are more crispy. Anyway, I just started binge watching your videos since I made a new German friend. I have been enjoying your videos a lot. Keep up the good work!
