Even with its fiercer competition, I still think CR-V is very reasonable for what it offers. Not as expensive as RAV4, still feature packed including full ADAS unlike its key European rivals like Tiguan and 3008 while still remain the most spacious inside. My only issue is the design (to my eyes) that only mother could love (it's a soccer mom car after all lol) and this car is just everywhere, quite boring sight than other more interesting alternatives like Peugeot 3008. My 2 cents ...

I am driving a Honda CRV 1.5 Turbo with Honda sensing (not AWD) for close to 3 years now, warranty ending in Dec2021. Honest review, cabin noise is obvious but a good set of tyres can reduce it. 68db or 70db or 110db, I don't know, my eardrums are not tuned for that, but the cabin noise is acceptable for me. Power wise, it is very capable for a car with 90bucks roadtax, and though it is running on CVT, it can out accelerate many of its direct competitors in that price range. Fuel consumption is fairly good too for a car this size. I don't go by the counter on the dashboard. I drive around in Ipoh town most of the time, the car daily runs around 70-80km, one full tank about 85bucks and i can use that for 6-7days before the annoying "fill up your tank" sign comes out on the dash. Overall it is a good "do all your stuff" car, some might complain about its handling, but i find it irrelevant, it is an SUV afterall.

Agreed. It is very well all rounded 5 seaters SUV with complete package except the nvh. I’m very satisfied with my 2018 crv (1.5tc awd). It very practical and yes, space is luxury for people with family.

I definitely agree with u on this facelifted crv, except the slightly underpowered from the get go..apart from that it is a smooth cruiser and offers the best in class in terms of pricing, roominess and style~ but the comfortable ride does come with negative side after at least 5 years of ownership, i could bet they become wary very soon compared to other rival, maybe that's why they are so good at bumps and holes when brand new~ maybe honda should learn from toyota to balance its suppleness and reliability at the same time while maximizing comfort level~ all in all, this would be my pick should i look for suv right now, it's a stealer trust me..👍🏻😎

I would pay that extra rm10k for the lux Mazda CX-5 interior ✌🏼 the CRV interior and infotech just screams basic and the driver would prolly be bored of it by the second year of use. I’m pretty confident the CX5’s comfort is one up the CRV too 🤫

I tried giving the CX5 a fair chance, but the comfort is only on the driver. As a passenger on the side and the back, the seats somehow is not as comfortable as the ones in CRV. Perhaps it could be due to the big space in CRV while the space at the back passenger side of the CX5 makes me feel claustrophobic.

Adrian, how was the feeling between Ativa and crv CVT transmission?
@Forehead-y3e
@Forehead-y3e 3 жыл бұрын
May i share my experience with both, to conclude ativa wins big due to larger n heavier crv..though only 1.0 but the pull u got is beyond compare with crv 1.5 cvt~ plus the heavy steering on crv makes it harder to navigate, of course it's a big suv but ativa wins at this...the only lacking with ativa is comfort level which i could not tolerate for such a high riding vehicle, perodua should do better in that department~

All our videos, if are sponsored you will see a "this video includes paid promotion" disclaimer. This CR-V 1.5 TC-P AWD is the highest spec on offer, of course I will be comparing it to the highest spec CX-5 and RAV4. Good that RM 13k makes little difference for you. But for the rest of the majority, a car with better features & space at a lower price means it's better value for money. In my video, I did not hide the fact that the CVT is loud at high revs (07:52) and the NVH is the worst among its competitors (there's even a table at 11:23). So I don't know what you mean by "I don't tell the truth". -Adrian
