One of your best tutorials yet! Simple and powerful. Love it! You really demonstrate how this approach it's the one that makes the more sense when it comes to balancing an image. It's a great workflow and a time saver too, which is great because, as you say, balancing all the footage is one of the most time consuming (and also kind of boring) tasks. Thank you! It's so great to have you as a teacher!

Thanks! I asked pro colorist so many times: "what's the difference in balancing your image between temp/tint, primary wheels, offset and curves? - Do as you like, it doesn't matter!" It DOES matter. Thank you so much for this!
@timlinke_dop2 жыл бұрын
wow, damn! I've never questioned how TEMP and TINT work, simply trusted that they would do what i expected. Though I didn't really use them to change temp and tint as I was able to work with raw footage most of the time, that's a really interesting point you're making and proves that we should consider reviewing what or nodes do more often using the greyscale. THANKS A LOT man!

What control within the software are you using to “minus” the offset colors? I’m assuming by “one click,” you’re referring to a hardware knob? I watched back a couple times but could not tell what you’re actually adjusting when you “minus yellow” for example.

Wow that is very valuable insight! Here I was thinking the Temp/Tint are the moest non-destructive tool within the Primaries. Such a simple yet powerful demonstration!
