Knowing the Luftwaffe's poor performance at that time and the failure to achieve major operations such as air superiority over Britain and the Eastern Fromt and repelling allied bombers, I think Hitler and many of his inner circles despises Goering but remember, Goering is still a high ranking politician, being the head of the Reichstag (Nazi Legislature Body) and they need him to secure and pass many laws in the legislature
