Didn't know you can sign up as a Merc. I might actually make an actual Mercenary Company and sell my services. I can imagine a proper Company would pay a decent amount for a guaranteed decent player rather than someone at random, to up their chances of keeping their territory. Lovely, thanks for the vid. Any idea if that fire cannon damages your allies? Would think it could be very powerful to lob on to the capture points to kill the defenders. Also love your videos! Been playing since 2020 and still learning new things from you and other YT content creators.

OK I have two Questions: 1. Can you damage the gate before you capture the three control points? I saw on one video where there was some kind of force field but not gate. I am assuming this was because they damaged the gate but had not captured all the control points. 2. What is the range of the siege weapons for the attackers? I would hate to put down a siege weapon and then find out I was out of range. Thanks

Hey John, thanks for the questions: No damage can be done to the gate without capturing the 3 initial rally points. The force field is just visual. The range of the siege weapons is pretty long and the height from the ramparts (for defenders) extends that. I don’t have any footage with the siege weapons so I can’t get you an exact measure but they have a lot of room and can be repositioned (if it not mistaken.)

Very great video! But there is something I don't get. Forts are able to be captured in the open world. For instance, the Covenant owns the settlement but the Syndicate owns the fort. If the Syndicate declare war, then the war still happens at the fort even though the Syndicate owns it? That doesn't seem right. Also, if my faction but not my company owns a territory...is there any way for me to claim it? What if one company in my faction dominates the server by owning all territories...is there no way for my company to own one since we are all in the same faction?

Great questions: the open world Fort is used to grant buffs to all faction members so it’ll always be in a state of conflict. Each faction will fight to control the fort for as long as possible. For example: controlling the windsward fort gives you a 5% exp boost. If your faction owns a territory but not your company, you’ll have to wait until another faction wins the territory and then go through the war process. As for server domination, they’re placing systems to help the underdog factions catch up or be able to make a stand.

The siege is kind of lame. For all the days build up (plus a day+ waiting for the war to even begin once declared) the actual war is 30minutes. Lol.

Sadly, I uninstalled the game today when it dawned on me that 95% or more, of the player base will NEVER get to see or play a war. 50 players gets chosen by the governing guild. And of course they will choose their own players, leaving the rest of the faction in the dark, while still demanding them to help building the city up and reinforce the keep, etc.
