God really does go to those who need him. I'm not a fan of screamo, per se, but these guys take hope and understanding into a genre so full of hate and hurt and a "screw it, screw life" mentality. Thank God for these guys. I'm a goth (but a Christian goth :3) and people really are quick to judge. They see me "oh, a devil-worshipping death metal goth" and then the look on their face when I say excuse me, smile, or offer my place in line. It gets them thinking. "She looks the same..but she's different....why?" They ask that question, and it's an opportunity to share our hope and Savior. We all make mistakes and fall short, but if you can't do anything else, are shy, etc, the best thing to do is to let them see Christ in you, and in me. And one that has hope and love in a room of hate and hopelessness...what do you think people are truly looking for?
