For free to play players are able to get these more easily and they're really good: the glider, whiteout, paralysis, Hiruko, Kestrel, Beak and even wasp (yes, wasp: gives 5% increase in damage, it shoots independently of the robots and has acid sprayer. Total offensive, zero defensive qualities). The glider repairs 30% durability immediately after phase shift. Use phase shift instead of repair unit and the bot lasts longer. And paralysis is really underrated. Use advanced repair and get a total of 12% more damage and increased defense, while providing lockdown. An excellent free to play option. My favourite tier 3 drones are Whiteout and Wasp. Wasp is underrated, but good drone. Wasp drone is automatic attacking target until 800 meter range 👌.

Extremely helpful Bud. This clears up some indecision for me. Unfortunately I have just one Hawkeye drone at level 12. None of my other drones are over 6 and many are level 1-4. Microchips are expensive and I can no longer afford buying more. I don’t have some of the better drones, just two Seekers, two whiteouts, one Shai, one Pacal, and three Daltokis. I watched your video on motherships but still have a question. How do you get components for the ones that are not offered in Black Market? Like Frederick. I was getting some Paladin components in my clan’s Starship Shipyard, but then it switched to another mothership, so I’m stuck with components that are unusable. What can I do?

Hey hey thank you and if you try to get mothership components you kind of have to watch that little shipyard thing that pops up on the map and spend your upgrade tokens for a chance to win some mothership components, they've making it pretty difficult to upgrade or get motherships unless you're buying those upgrade tokens in spending on the little thing there but one year in your hangar on the left hand side there will be a little square you can click on that appears and disappears and mothership components are in there I think it looks like a little spaceship is what the icon is of the thing you click on

11:17 ---> Before Pixonic nerf, no matter how many times you activated the active module it would increase the HP. I used this drone in my Ultimate Mender and my robot reached 2 million HP every single game. That was crazy! They nerfed this drone to 8X just before the annoucenment of the unstable conduit's cooldown reduction to 2s, for obvious reasons hahaha

Yeah I think it was a little bit too powerful back in the day so they did tone it down and that's probably good because it's still super strong as it is, sometimes they rebalance something and they do a pretty good job at it, I think they probably did the right thing on this particular item because when the unstable conduit came out people can just sit there every five or six seconds hitting that button and get unlimited health if they wouldn't have put a cap on it we don't need somebody with 500 million hit points rolling around LOL

+1. one problem being unlike other items in game, drones use the same amount of resources regardless of tier. So the lower the tier, the less the return for the resources on the rarest commodity in the whole game.

I guess that depends on how important it is to you to have that drone now, I think it does awesome if you put it on the correct robot, but I hate to tell you what to spend your d gyms on if there's a lot of different stuff in the game that you can use that for and what's going to be most beneficial to you I'm not 100% sure but it's hard to say when something is going to become easily available, could be as soon could be who knows when that's the problem with that

I would say that's probably one of the hardest things to get in this game without spending money, I think power sales and the resource to level up your drones or the two things you almost have to buy with real money or it takes forever to get them

Starter and Sidekick are good drones for players who don't have any other options, but you're right that most of the lower tier drones are trash. Still, I think Ironhearth deserves a mention, as you can use it to get some defense points when using Revenant ability or Khepri Ability (with misaki and ponchy).

Prime is if you get one of those lower teardrones you have to dump some sort of resources into it the level of up and I'd rather run without one until I got a good one honestly or just throw a level 1 drone on there and use it as is but the resource to upgrade drones is kind of expensive so I wouldn't put that into a lower teardrum personally

@@Danny-Lightning-WR You dont have to use any resources on it! Starter or sidekick hardly get anything from max level, i think level 1 starter heals 12k and max level its 15k. You can just use it at level 1 while you wait to get something else.

I agree with you, that ability is almost not even worthwhile, I mean I guess it's good if you have a robot and you're running for a beacon if somebody shoots you for the first time they can't lock you down before you get to the beacon or something but for the most part that's not a great ability when you want to get a shield once and then it's done forever lol

I think that's really going to be personal preference because both setups are good but the flamethrowers are a lot harder to use in my opinion so I would probably go with the splinter shatter, those are some pretty decent weapons but if you have the black shotguns I would run those as they do super good damage up close and it's really easy to jump right next to somebody with the invader and suppress them so the shotguns that do the most damage up close would probably be a good choice but between the ones you mentioned I think they're both nice setups and they will both do very well but I don't know which one you will like better personally but I would let rather go with the shotguns myself as it's really hard to hit a moving Target with the flamethrowers

Sort of, it's got a little bit of a long reload time which is the reason I don't run those weapons very often but they hit super hard I just feel like I'm out of ammo too often when I run those so I don't particularly care for them due to the long reload but if you can get used to that they're pretty good weapons it just sucks when another robots coming at you and you don't have any ammo for a while

I get so many people complaining when I make videos about ultimate robots, a lot of people seem to dislike those because they're pretty crazy expensive to get in level up but people seem to get angry when I make ultimate robot videos but I've actually been thinking about doing something like that, right now I'm kind of trying to wait till the module rework happens to make a video like that cuz I've got a weird feeling it's really going to change the way the game plays I think all the robots are going to feel very different after that happens if I'm going to do a robot showing all the ultimates I think I'd better wait till after they rework the modules cuz they may be very different after that happens I don't know

Also I have same worry as you when it comes to the module rework, this is gonna take away the player’s choices when it comes to how to use their bots. There's not currently very many dash box that would do well in champion League, most of the dashboards are old school and very outdated and I never did good with any of them except for the kumaho, for some reason I played that one extremely well never had much luck with the other dash bots but currently I don't think there's a whole lot of good dashboards available unfortunately

I think everything except for the rust seems to work on a curry, we only got the rest ability to work on a couple of things so far and some of it you had to have a very specific pilot and just a drone that's not really designed to go to other robots I think but I think there would be better choices to put on that robot

The best Drones in my opinion: Armadillo is the best all around drone. Capture beacons and Kill robots for extra defence and damage output. Paralysis when used with repair module is great. Shai drone is great also. Kestrel if ran on a stealth bot is awesome. For me personally I wouldn't waste resources on anything else. Mostly all the new drones are designed specifically for the bots they are designed for and are also meant to complement the weapons they are designed for and aren't worth your time unless your spending money. Your assessments of these drones work for you, but may not work for everyone. You pilots should do your research and decide for yourselves what you're going to use.

There's probably about 50 or 60 people in our discord server that we see regular and play with all the time so I don't just take my opinions into consideration and making guides like this I go by my opinions plus the feedback I get from a lot of other people so generally most of them like the same stuff I do but if you may have some other opinions on certain stuff but I take my feeling and a bunch of other people's feelings into considerations as well but for example shi is one of those drones that almost everybody I know seems to like and the armadillo is one of those drones that it's pretty hit and miss who seems to like that one, a lot of people don't play that for the same reasons I don't always play it so it's not just my opinions here when I decide on rating something like a drone or a weapon or a pilot I take other people's opinions into consideration as well and that's a lot of other people's opinions to be honest

If you notice each drone has its own chapter which means if there's a specific one you want to view you can just kind of skip to that one and then if there's another one you want to view you just skip to that chapter and then you only have to walk to the parts you want to watch but I think you really want to have something like this on one video or people are going to complain that well this one was not on there and that one was not there so it's either long or broke up in the park which might be more confusing in the long run so we put some chapters on that bad boy

The majority of players definitely don't seem to be thrilled about this, but it looks like they're going through with it so all I can say is hopefully it somehow makes the game feel a little bit more balanced, I'm not sure that it will but I'm hoping something good comes out of it we won't know for sure how it affects the game play until it goes live but I definitely feel like the robots are going to play differently after they do this so hopefully it does something that makes the game feel more balanced but I've kind of got a bad feeling it might make the robots all feel more squishy but we'll see what happens I guess
