Patch 1.79, damn that's an old battle. It looked a bit familiar to me but I only remembered it after I noticed myself in chat near the end of the video. There were a few moments where I thought I might've wasted too much time on climbing but in the end it all worked out perfectly well, mainly thanks to you keeping half of the enemy team busy killing one after another.

@@AdamTheEnginerd Yes, I can remember pretty well when I reluctantly thought "oh well, there goes my sole contribution to this match" but luckily my crit was good enough to get me the kill. Seeing my first dive attempt on the Spitfire in your video I was just thinking "the timing of that Ki-94 was good, but his aiming sucks ass" and 2 minutes later I was thinking "hang on a second, that pathetic Ki-94 earlier was me..." But it's always nice to see how you're performing from a different perspective, unfortunately there isn't really enough footage so I could analyze my play style. On the other hand there wasn't much footage to get from 2 minor dives on a Spifire anyway lol

Not sure what you're on about. Spaded it has quite excellent energy retention, turns quite decently, and is rather fast at its BR. Stock it's a complete brick, but once you have all the engine mods it's a whole new plane.

The ol' Japanese "262". Me 262 A-1a is my favorite craft in the game thanks to its amazing energy retention(makes up for the terrible acceleration), good maneuverability, and durability. I've only ever ripped in it twice outside of test flights. Below 700kph it's too slow to rip and above 850 it compresses, and you have to pull HARD and for a while before it rips. I've been going down Japan(not for the T-2, I refuse to join that cancer) so I'll have to give the Kikka a try once I have it.

Adam514 You have to be going 700-850kph and make a full elevator turn for quite a few seconds, and even still it usually only rips off a third of the wing and you can make it home to base. First time I did it, I was maneuvering at high speeds in a furball and did it accidentally, second time I had to make a hard pull out of a 60 degree dive, barely missed the ground and pulled off the wing. Definitely a pro of the craft. How does the Kikka hold up in terms of durability/ripping?

Kikka is quite a sluggish early jet, and it's more a WW2 jet than a cold war one. Jets in general all have sufficient roll.

When i started that plane it was also horrible for me, you just need to be patient until you have the performance upgrades, it really becomes a great all-rounder with excellent firepower. Basically fly it enough times in a row to get used to it, just play more reserved at the start, stay near your teammates and be patient.

The compression is honestly ass, and the fact that the Kikka was terrible up until the last couple of updates. Is anyone else's keybindings and controls screwed up after 1.87? I always hold ALT to freely look around while fighting. I used to be able to toggle my flaps while holding ALT. Now that's not possible anymore. Does anyone share similar experiences or what am I doing wrong here?

It's likely due to the fact that WT uses Ctrl, Alt, & Shift as modifier/combination buttons. So if you're holding Alt and press F, it'll only see it as you pressing Alt+F. You'd need to assign flaps to both F and Alt+F if you want to toggle flaps while using freelook on Alt. Personally though, I'd recommend not using Shift, Ctrl, or Alt for standalone buttons at all, only for combination presses.
