The problem with the Ratel ZT-3A2 is that the missiles were implemented poorly and the IRL problem is that this vehicle was an experiment to see how well the ZT-3 would do on a ground launcher but the stupid SANDF decided that instead of having some experimental Ratel with a missile the said, "Let's be dumb black and put it into service for the next 50+ years" if the original SADF saw this they would have shat themselves.

Chinese M41D comes to mind as a vehicle for the series. Waffentrager, Black Prince, Zachlam Tiger, Churchill Petard are some others that are absolute lemons

M41D is an asbolutely miserable machine. I play other vehicles with low caliber darts lke the Aubl 74/hvg and the MARS and the M41D's darts are absolutely pathetic in comparison.

Petard is big fun and you can do very well with it. I found myself in the enemy spawn multiple Times when playing it.

Certainly far from worst tank in game! You get 1000mm pen, gen 2 thermals, fast ATGMs and a quick reload, decent optics and it's cheap to keep. I very often get multiple kills (3 plus) using this including recently a ten kill streak on the Stalingrad map! It's all about positioning and not getting caught with your pants down.

Nah. I spaded the ZT3A2 when it was end-of-the-line and module costs were doubled. That was pre-missile nerf, and it was alright back then. I tried it yesterday for the first time in a while and it's basically unusable with the dogshit missile handling. I used to prefer it over the Striker, but now the Striker is the better option by far.

@Altair885 medium to long range hull down as much as possible and use bushes to camo up as much as possible and you have the most maneuverable atgm in game

I think it not the vehicle itself but the gayjin implement the missile going downward and then slowly adjust itself making it extremely wonky to control

This is the greatest vehicle on the british tech tree. smacking 11.7 with it is the most fun ive had in this game. plus it can hide behind big hills :)

I mean yea out of all the things on 8.3 I mess with people by staring at them over a fences since then they cant use heat on me expect for the launcher which most dont notice. The tandem missiles are amazing against israelis and ussr tanks and the 2nd gen thermals are amazing cherry on top. Idk if gaijin changed how missiles behave now but it seems when I played it like 1 day ago they didn't behave like how sako showed. I mean I managed to kill 4-5 allouetts and 2 Mi's with the missiles

Ahh, I was going to suggest this, lol, I did find ONE way to play it though, go onto a cap, and aim your gun down so the missiles fire forward, and then just spam them at the first person that comes around the corner

this is one of my fav tanks in the game.. you are just playing it wrong... you arent even using sniper spots, and you are barely utilizing its capability to shoot over hills. in 90% of these clips you were exposing your entire tank, when you have a sight out of your launcher which is at the very top. Also, treat the missile like a car. If you are going 200kmh in a car, dont expect it to do sharp turns, you need to move your mouse gradually and then the missile does wonders at hitting moving targets or switching targets. For example at 5:24 you correctly aimeed up to prevent it from hitting the building, but then a few seconds later you move your mous sharply down, of course its gonna go of course. You dont sharply turn your wheel in your car at 200kmh so why would you do this here? This video pains me.

Sako man I need a suggestion Bcs I have 80 dollars not usd sitting around rn and I want to grind out the Soviet tree next I just finished Germany ( without premiums so I’m expirenced with nato Tanks ) but I’m not too sure what’s a good Russian premium like do I buy like the t-80 ue-1 that’s under my budget btw or do I buy like the t-55am-1 and buy a bunch of backups and premium time like with the left over money I can get about 4 months help me out pls 😭

It's a very hard question, both are fantastic - so are the 10.0 premiums. If you're a great player the T-80U-E1 is great, but lacks back up unless you have the squadron vehicles T-55AM1 is also fantastic, and has a great lineup. I can't tell you which to buy, but both are fantastic
