To add insult to injury, yesterday I had losses so bad that essentially I couldn’t move. The game completely froze. When returned the game later, it told me I had been reported by players for “passive play”. Well if you can’t move……. Fun times.

My favorite is in Air RB flying normal at 1000m then a packet loss spike and just seeing your plane spaz out and quickly yet slowly go towards the ground. That or start diving in from 5km and the get packet loss and just uncontrollably go straight into the ground.

Thankfully not just NA :) EU is also having big PL drops 10-30 seconds of nothing but rubber banding Edit: Used to not happen, post Christmas noticed few issues, thought it was my internet. Custom battles in the last week have been having drops for the entire lobby for 10-30 seconds. Very consistent now, making the game really taxing

Not enough evidently, they've been doing weird things to reduce the load for years and considering the player count hasn't grown that fast the only answer left is that the servers just aren't substantially better than they were five years ago, which is weird considering the amount of computer per dollar has defiantly grown a lot in that time.

I hardly play now after 3k hours. Between no development, crap/worsened maps... yeah no thanks

yea the spikes of crazy packet loss and then back to normal is how you know its not your internet. It has been incredibly frustrating to see flying tanks and not being able to control your vehicle especially when you have a 500% booster on.

Thank you for talking about this! People have been reporting it in the steam discussions, but the admin just keeps dismissing it saying things like "I'm always surprised that people still don't know how the internet works." They make comments like that and act all high and mighty, with one of their solutions is to not play during peak hours. Not very good when your fix is to don't play the game. Then they lock the thread again. Maybe now that a CC is talking about it, it will be taken more seriously.

I actually notice I get stuck to the ground or uncontrollably sliding and enemy tanks start flying in the air and the PL is maybe 5% then a few seconds later it spikes up.

With server like this, me playing top-tier Air RB with my crappy phone internet is truly a 'Dancing on the Edge' moment. SA server in my region is one of the worst. Sometimes, the CIS server with higher ping is actually more stable and keeps me from slamming into the ground.

I usually play on SA server, because that's where I get the best ping. But lately the PL has been really bad. Weirdly, when I play the US server, I get nearly double the ping, but no PL during this event.

I was just to submit a request at Gaijin Support, but at that time my Internet connection was very bad at this time only around 12 Mbs (250 normally), and at the moment the game is rather fluent

Also, conspiracy theory: Gaijin higher ups disappointed that the winter event vehicles didn't generate enough profit because their market price is low. Then, they intentionally cause server issues, making more players give up on grinding the event, therefore reducing the supply of event vehicles in the market and raising the price.

What does company needs to do is instead of adding new stuff fix the game upgrade the servers I mean they're making all this money but yet they can't afford a decent server and if they would get rid of the Chinese players and have them on their own dedicated server it would solve so much issues with the game so you don't have people running for 500 ping and screwing up the entire game for everyone else it's like they want us to spend money on their game but yet their servers are so dog s*** that we can't even play the game it's like the most dumbest company I've ever seen but now instead of fixing it what do they do oh let's add more stuff into the game so it makes the servers struggle more

Entire nato? So where’s the stealth fighters, F-15s, nato troops, or nato advanced weaponry like jassms,jsow, etc. Russia is doing horribly and need North Korean troops, North Korean artillery, Iranian drones, Iranian reverse engineered spikes, Iranian air defenses, Chinese drones, and a whole group of mercenaries just to attempt to defeat Ukraine. Great example is how almost the entire Russian awacs fleet is destroyed, over a 3rd of the Black Sea fleet is gone, and half the Ka-52 and a quarter of the mi-28 fleet is gone. We’re also seeing ww2 era apcs and early Cold War era t-54s in frontline combat. And air defense is so bad you can’t even stop drones from hitting major ammunition depots, mostly because of how many S-400s have been destroyed.

I'm in Australia and recently had a lot of issues with the game's "performance". For example, the Pacific Hidden Base map for Air Arcade Battles is a mess. After a few minutes, you stop flying because you begin to take "baby steps".

I was stock grinding the F16A ocu which is already a terrible experience to play by itself but i was successfully notching some missiles slung at me up at like 30,000 feet and then the lag spikes hit and i was put into a flat spin while a mica was headed straight for my forehead.

I've had multiple games in ARB where the team is barely off the runway and then suddenly half the team (including me) would just plummet to the ground. Bam, crew lock. In GRB the packet loss seemed to always kick in right when I engage the enemy, then suddenly my driver is drunk and trying to drive through the front door of a building.

I've observed the same. I run a ping on my 2nd monitor when the game is up to confirm its not on my end. When in discord with squad members, some of my discord friends have problems at the same time as I do. It does not seem to be correlated to location with players in the phillipines, canada and florida all having issues at the same time while other players who live nearby in florida and players in tennessee and texas do not. It seems like you either have the problems or you do not. Players that don't experience the problems at the same time I do, tend not to experience the problems at all.

I've been having these problems daily and almost every game, been robbed of boosters and backups due to this issue. i play daily but now I'm only logging on for my bonus, run like 3 games and run into rhis issue and I quit the game entirely and play something else. As you pojnted out, these server issues going on as long as they have, the unappealing BP, still annoyed about having a taxing event during Christmas and now this event when I can't play due to their problems, I'm just over it. I've put a DECENT amount of money into this game over the last year-year and a half of playing daily for hours and still would but all the stated above has really taken the oxygen out the flame for me. I work a full time job, got family, and other games I want to play. Between the effort the game demands for you to put in and the lack of effort being put in my the developers... I'm quitting yo lol and sadly that's what it feels like leaving this game, it feels like quitting a full time job and mostly because the heads of the company clearly don't care that much about it.

My pet peeve is starting a game with 4-6 people on each team and somehow I still happen to be playing with 1.0 uptier. Recently my game crashed within the first few minutes while I had like a dozen of boosters running (they were about to expire). All I got was an assist. I play more passively for a long time now as the teams are not evenly matched and we get run over by the enemy. If I try to push forward, I get bum rushed.

2 days ago I was in GRB with the F3H-2, while flying over the AO ready to do a low pass over over 100m I randomly imploded. No one shot my bomb, no one was looking at me, no trees or powerlines, no drones just my implosion.. wonder if that is related to the server problems? Hell when they switched to battle my weapon selection binds were not working at all and had to rebind everything to fix the damn problem.

I've been having nasty server issues since the last major update. I'm talking like I was flying a fully spaded Mirage 2000-S5, with full afterburners going, and my plane just drops out of the sky. Or I turn left, and my plane gets yanked to the right to a missile. Usually I find the servers a but wonky the week after an update.. but its just not stopping and its so much worse than usual.

I can corroborate thesr issues, it has been basically unplayable. Every game in air rb it randomly spikes in PL, punting me straight into the ground and has the gall to punish me for it. While in groubd rb, I'll be in a vital situation and then it'll start drifting me out of cover and then I explode. Given how comically hard the events are now this is completely unacceptable.

up until a day ago, i had no issues. then when i tried to dive to avoid a missile, packet loss jumped to 50% and forced me back into the sky and into the missile that would have otherwise missed me. idk why it's so hard for gaijin to have working servers considering all the money they have. but i can't say i'm surprised when apex legends still uses 20hz servers all these years later.

I've been playing for 7 years and I've been having unregistered shots and crashes dew to server problems for the last 5 of those years. I get usually multiple ghost rounds and unregistered shots every game and I've wondered for years why I seem to have this problem worse then others. My game had not started crashing much though till about a year or two ago(still doesnt crash often and has not in weeks). So much about this game is badly broken and I for one wish some competent devs would make a version of this game that works.

EU has had hitreg and sporadic latency issues for at least a month now. Shells just arent landing where they're visually/aimed or straight up ghostshelling etc. horrible timing with the events rn.

Yeah, I came into this just yesterday, using EU servers. I shot a TAM with my T-80 for several times face to face getting hit markers and wondered, why it wasn't dying. Till a teammate rolled through not caring at all...and I got the "connection lost" message and...was kicked from the server.

I think theres a bad route somewhere in central NA, many people affected say they are in west NA along with myself and for me I experience same issue on EU server, so I think something along the way to NA east is not doin good. from what I can find the server seems to be located in NA east

I will admit the servers have been a bit if he lately, but it's not only on the NA servers, I've noticed it also on the EU servers, so yeah not really sure what's causing the server hamsters to have a bit of a moment, and for example I was playing with my MIG 29g then all of a suddenly the packet loss went from 0 to 999 in like two seconds flat, And also it's not like the ping was any better, but before I can even comprehend what was happening, my aircraft went from flying to being teleported into the ground, So yeah fuck knows what's been going on with gaijan's servers as of late but it's getting annoying, I can't even tell if it's getting better or worse

Game is rapidly becoming unplayable for SEA/Oceania users like us. US servers = east coast with packet loss, almost never west coast now (Used to get 120-150 ping.. now 250-300). EU is perma PL and worse. Imagine in 2025 not having map selection or server selection... I am playing HLL now far more than this trash game with lazy trash devs and lazy anton.
