Yeah Brock so far has never been put in an advantageous position to succeed. ACC championship in the cold rain with most of his support injured and not playing to their best. Orange Bowl with all the surrounding talent gone.

Is it possible that some people related to and on the team had gained some knowledge prior to us, the general public, about the recent "rumor" on still being stuck in the ACC for more years? The snub did take its toll, as the ACC had been perceived as a lower tiered conference.

I'm a cal fan, I think FSU will have the best defensive front Cal has faced (close with Auburn), trying to man cover Cal's receivers might be asking a lot, we'll see. It's reported the 2 starting offensive lineman(RG and Center) are returning for Cal (they've missed first 3 games), I think Cal's offensive line will look significantly better. Our returning guard Vati is our best lineman, a real road grader, should help the running game quite a bit. Not convinced Jaydn Ott our running back is coming back completely healthy, but I hope he's better than he looked vs Auburn, because he literally couldn't cut against Auburn. He sat last week though, so I hope he's a lot better. Our top 2 WR are still going to be out but the others have really stepped up. Cal will have to drive the field because we without those 2 WRs we can't stretch the field as much. Fernando Mendoza is a solid QB, he's 6'5, which allows him to have a clear vision of the field and he's not super slow, so he can move around the pocket. I think Cal will have one of the top defenses in the ACC, they too play mostly man coverage. Our 2 ILB are very very good and we have 2 good cover corners with good size. Our front 4 are big and physical, but not real twitchy. They do a good job of staying in their lanes while rushing the QB, so it limits other teams QB as running threat. I think its going to be a close game, but I think Cal's defense helps us with a 1 score win. Turnovers will be the decider I think.

100% agree. Norvell is screwing over many players that would like to try and make a difference. And instead of Norvell finding his players of the future, he decides to remain in the paste. DJU is not our future. Several OL seniors are also not our future.

Norvell will never say it but I believe the only reason DJ is still playing is because of the NIL package he received. Those writing the checks want to get their money worth in playing time.

You may be right since money is now involved, but Norvell , in the press conference, seemed genuinely pleased with most of djus play. Apparently, making the right decisions and so forth. There have been some bad blocking and drops and fumbles, penalties that hurt us. Honestly, he thinks dju gives us the best chance to win. He doesn't care about next year but desperately wants a win.

I think the big problem we have with recruiting is you you have teams like Georgia Alabama Texas Ole Miss to compete with in high school recruiting and coach knows that it’s going to be extremely difficult to sway kids away from those programs so he’s trying to live and die out of the transfer portal. I think the only way we become competitive in high school recruiting is if there is stability in the program how can you commence a kid to come to your program when you had a undefeated regular season and then start the following season winless? I think coach after this season is over is going to get a lot of transfers and a lot more de commitments and I hope we can build a team that wants to be there who believes in the culture who believes in the coaches and really plays with physicality and fundamentals, but until coach installs stability, this is why it’s going to look like

You're talking recruiting, but ignored the biggest roadblock, Miami who is dominating recruiting in Florida & nationally. Worried about other programs & ignoring Miami, the very program that is looking to bury fsu on the trail & on the field. It's actually too late, because Miami is winning & recruits are already looking at Miami. Finishing 13-1 & a recruiting class in the lower 30s the next year shows that recruits were never interested or believed in fsu as program. Glad to see it! 😂😂😂😂

If your OL can’t pass block, and they can’t open up holes, what is left. Put in a wildcat and run Brock. Somehow you’re going to have to stretch a defense. If they play DJU Cal will win. Because DJU when he has time, can’t throw a completion.

The original point of my post is that it wasn't an upset against Memphis for anybody who was paying attention, even Saban picked Memphis to win. I'm saying the disappointment is based on past accomplishments and super disrespectful to both BC and Memphis who are just better than FSU this year. Tech is a complete head scratcher.
